Bouncing around from team to team like LeBron James isn’t the answer. I have always thought the reason Dungey had so much success with KTM was because he stuck it out and developed the bike to his liking. When he came to KTM the bike wasn’t great.

If you look at the WMX racers of that era, Ashley Fiolek and Jessica Patterson, its not even close. Turner would destroy them. The speed of these women has progressed so much

I'm going to go the other way. If your son qualified on his first try, he's going to smoke a lot of dudes on special editions. There may be some riders who are faster AND can use the extra goodies, but it's my contention that a tight, fresh, new bike with a good setup should be enough at Loretta's. Imagine what you can get out of that standard model with $4400 of extra parts! You've already committed to doing the suspension either way; what else is there on the WE? A Yosh pipe? What else? Special cam or something? Save...
