I'm gonna hijack this thread for a moment to whine from my brokie woods guy perspective. It's a damn shame that you can't buy a bike like the XR250R from a major manufacturer anymore. While yes the CRFF, TTR, KLXs all exist; they are all ultimately play bikes. They are awesome at existing as neglected machines that get drug out every once in a while to put around, and they are bulletproof. Still great fun. Glad they exist. Any long section that’s slightly curved with rollers or jumps means zero passing. Every single time. And they still use that regularly. Just recycle designs that were loved and produced good racing. Fuckk reinventing the wheel for the sake of it. Use designs that work and stick to it. Get 10-15 good layouts and use the left over time and energy on more dirt and using the full space.

I don’t think the bike matters much with Sexton. He tends to have the same crashes on every brand. It’ seems to be about technique and focus.

It's a no risk deal for any team. He gets on the bike and doesn't produce results "Well you know how Chase is difficult..." He gets on the bike and wins "See Chase just needed the right team".

Nothing wrong with how the flagger reacted. Saw the crash and immediately looked to see if anyone was coming over the jump trying to figure out what to do. Waited for the girl on the Honda that was in the air to pass and then looked back and saw her still wrapped under the bike and immediately ran to help her. All happened in 2-3 seconds.

Some of em have little to no prep. Canon for example said it on press. Times show that too. Each laptime is like 2-4 seconds apart. Hate to say it but they dont belong there (yet). They just figuring out how to ride supercross its too early to let them race against each other imo

IMO, no. Seems fitting to who they are. Chill/laidback guys, DGAF about social media, neither are the "look at me" type. Gave it everything they had, called it a career, and walking away healthy on their own terms. Can't ask for much more than that.
