mshea397 Added a reply to Running MR Pro6 in a Vortex mapped for U4.4

Not an exact answer to your question, but my 2 cents. I have a 2024 KX that is similar to yours. I have the full Race Tech top end. The same package as reviewed by Swap and Keefer (piston, full porting with epoxy, seats with 5-angle valve job, vortex, full-FMF exhaust, vortex, etc.). The mapping is for VP T4+ or...

After being self-taught for 40 years, I had the time and I took his class. Yes, there were a lot of students, but during the group briefings, there were a lot of little details that I could pick up. I very much found it to be a good experience and it improved my riding. As noted above, more direct focus...

Good advice so far from current owners regarding TwinAir filters, removing the internal exhaust screens, Loctite, and keeping an eye on steering stem bearings. I'll add a couple tidbits from my ownership as well. The steering stem bearings last significantly longer if you seal up the frames' inner head-tube: I clean all the grease out first, cut a fork sticker to fit between the races/surrounding the frame walls, and then reassemble with a liberal amount of Maxima/Motorex/BelRay grease. I've found that the lower bearing wear/notching isn't a result of washing, rather moisture in the frame itself. Mapping is free to...

In Memory of Gaza (UFOpilot) Continuing His Legacy Hi everyone, I’m Gaza’s daughter. I’m writing to share some heart-wrenching news with you all. On May 3rd, my dad passed away after battling pneumonia brought on by his COPD. He fought so hard, but unfortunately, he couldn’t recover this time. I know how much he loved this community and how excited he was to build this Suzuki RM465 for me and my three little ones. Finding that engine was such a huge moment for him, and reading his posts shows just how much heart and miracle-working he put into everything he...

Was just checking the build thread and saw a note from his daughter. You folks that frequent the bike builds section know that dude took great pride in building that RM465. If you ever followed his build go give his daughter some love. I am posting her note below: - - - - In Memory of Gaza (UFOpilot) Continuing His Legacy Hi everyone, I’m Gaza’s daughter. This thread belongs in a book. I would, without hesitation, love to have this in a hard cover book on my coffee table for me to glaze and appreciate until the end of time. Unbelievable. Thank you for the latest updates.

I’ve got a huge thank you to publicly give to Raptor Titanium! Earlier this year, I lost my stepfather. He had been married to my mother since I was four years old, so I considered him my dad. He was a huge motocross fan who grew up in South Los Angeles and was part of the moto scene from pretty much the very beginning. He even owned Bay Area Cycle Centre, a KTM and Bultaco dealership, in the 1970s and ’80s. About 25 years ago, our neighbor started calling him PapaMoto — long before any grandkids arrived. The nickname stuck...

I don’t get this place. Vince may rub you all the wrong way but the guy is racing at the highest level, making a living doing what we all love and wish we could do. You can not like him, but show some respect. Wishing he is hurt bad enough to be sent to retirement? Bunch of ass hats in this place anymore.
