Can ride a 450 at regionals & then a 250 at loretta's. Honestly at Loretta's I do not think the size bike will make any difference whatsoever. I'd be same speed on any big bike. Suspension & comfort is 10x more important.

Gotcha! Just looking at the classes now (should have done this before), I see that 30+ and 45+ is this sportsman class where forma pros can't race... so why is there all the upset over Browny racing? Surely if folks don't want to race him, they could enter one of these sportsman classes?

East of Atlanta is Lawrenceville and Athens. Have a look at land sale and rental prices before you lump us into trailers and poor folk. There was a track over here years ago called Rollin Havin but it's long since closed. Owners always plowed very deep and the track was known for having deep and challenging ruts. I made this post, which is not something I normally do, because of the off the chart customer service I received on a single graphics order. No less than 30 emails, a few texts, and multiple phone calls. This was literally the best service I have ever received for anything Moto. Not to mention a lifetime of seeing Decal Works support local riders and shops I know. I don’t know of a company that cares more about the individual customer.

Both my brothers raced nationals. Ronnie (who just won +45) never scored a national point. He came close, I think he got 21st in like 98 or something in a moto. But no points ever. Did a few nationals and a few sx races but then went to freestyle. Just got back into racing more often a few years ago again. my brother Ricky has multiple top 10s in sx and mx, as well as a few Loretta’s titles.

Most of them are just trying to be "cool"....since the TV debacle last year it has been a status symbol around here to pile on DC. What's hilarious, is that 99% of the dudes doing it have never put any skin in the game themselves to promote an event or make the sport better....they just get off on shitting on someone who has made it their life's work to promote and grow motocross.

To be fair to DC and co, I think every year the first Loretta's zoomed out picture or drone/helo shot in the broadcast pops up... That whole event has to be a shit tonne of work and you've gotta pay to play. Still plenty of good local racing if you can't, won't or simply don't want to stretch to Loretta's, but it stands to reason that what is the pinnacle for many is a lil pricey 🙂

And some complainers still come back to the race and complain about the prices. Lol.
