Anyone know if there were guys on 125s or 250fs in the +45 class?

55 year old Michael Keating ended up 6th in the Over 50 on a 2003 YZ125. Also raced it in the Over 45 and ended up 23rd. He has been racing that same bike at Loretta's for almost 10 years now.

Mark Ottenad usually races a 125 locally in Wisconsin and he was in the +45 class at the ranch.

Marc raced 50+ and 45+ he finished 15th in both classes.  I don’t think it is and I didn’t hear his bike but another 50+ x pro he said it’s a 167 Husky.  I,ll be racing him in a few weeks  . I,ll let you know if his bike is faster than the DBP standard bore cr125.

He was on the KX 125 that he won his championship on. I drew chip 23 and he was chip 24 so I was talking to him in staging about his bike. His graphics said KX144 so I guess it has a big bore kit on it. Super nice guy btw

There was at least 1 250f in +30. I lined up next to him one moto. However you gotta remember just because you race a small bore at the ranch does not mean you qualified on a small bore. Can ride a 450 at regionals & then a 250 at loretta's. Honestly at Loretta's I do not think the size bike will make any difference whatsoever. I'd be same speed on any big bike. Suspension & comfort is 10x more important.
