Not sure about Malcolm, but when Ryan won his only title at the ranch, he won all but 1 schoolboy stk/mod moto at 2 AQ's and 1 RQ. Pretty sure he was not an alternate, For what it is worth, he also had impressive results in the 125B stk/mod classes racing his RM-125 against a bunch of 250F's at the...

I think the classes are fine. Leave them as they are. I raced 45+ sportsman this year and got my ass kicked. I was in shape, but should have focused more on raw speed. Did a ton of 30 min motos and should have done more sprint laps. I raced a few local A class races in the 90's. Never scored pro points, but also moved out of the B class. I got my ass kicked at the ranch because I wasn't fast enough. I could go much faster with the right practice. Instead of Davey Coombs removing my competetion...

Chip Munn puts a ton back into the sport. Chip/ Big Dan/ The Really Big J are at countless races around North/South Texas and across the country throughout the year. They are amazing at trackside support. The whole crew are a bunch of great guys. Don’t kid yourself though, Munn Racing moves bikes. I drive past at least 3 other KTM shops to buy from them.

I am sorry to hear this. John was one of the fastest that I ever saw on a mini. RIP John Kitsch.

Yes, changing a complete engine is legal. Change suspension, change tires, change wheel sets. all legal (I guess you get the idea). If you crack a frame, hopefully it can be repaired,

If Mike had a second bike, he could only use it for parts. You have to race the same frame for the entire week. My guess is he did have a spare bike but not enough time to do an engine swap.

I thought I would see how a dad defines "holds his own..." Holy crap, a top five moto and sitting in fifth after 2 motos in s/mini1 is definitely holding his own. Congratulations to you and your son and finish the week strong (and safe). I will be cheering for him from the comfort of my home office. Judging from...

The rules have changed over the years. I am almost positive that when LL's started that the only rule against entering the A-mod (later Pro Sport) classes was that you could not have a factory contract. My first trip to LL was 1990 and I know that in those first few years that I went there were racers running their...
In past years it was available on YouTube on the Racer TV channel and I assume the same for this year. The difference this year is that the starting time is 7:30am central time thru 6:30pm central time, so it appears only the last moto will not be shown live. Possibly the last 2 if they have a delay during...
Did a lot of parts changing, but we got it race ready for Lars tonight! P3 in the heat!

He probably would not have gotten an invite, but if he applied he would have been accepted.. Judson Wisdom was accepted and he finished 27th in 450 Pro Sport at Loretta's this year. Coty finished 30th in the same class in 2016. So, if this would have happened in 2016 and there were less than 25 entries, Coty would have...

I am pretty sure Emig's birthday is in December and he turned 50 last December. Ages for youth classes are based on your age on January 1; ages for amateur classes are based on your age the first day of the event.
