I thought he was assisting with the training role at Triumph since Mike Brown is out for a little bit?
Man, that’s a bummer he’s being cut short due to injuries. This sport is brutal.
He seems like a sharp kid with a good head on his shoulders, hopefully he can leverage his relationships to find a career that is satisfying for him.
brutal sport for sure, hope he succeeds with whatever is next for him
Have a feeling he will be around the sport doing will hahn type rolls soon

Bummer, young guy with a bright future. Hopefully he can find something he enjoys..
23 yrs old and retiring that sucks. I fractured a couple bones in my rt wrist 2 yrs ago . It throbs yet I use kt tape . I thought I might hv fractured it again. But no it’s arthritis
Like, gymnastics and stuff? 😋
I never knew that was one of Wilburs talents.
Still think he has one of the coolest names in dirtbiking.
This sport is brutal. Spend your entire childhood being one of the next big things, only to have your professional career derailed by injuries. Even with that he still got some podiums. Hope he finds fulfillment iin whatever is next.
All 3 of the Bakersfield kids have had a rough go in the pro's. Hoped they would all kill it as pro's
Always enjoyed watching his style. Good luck in his future whatever he decides.
Lest not forget the 30 second board jorts etc. 😂
Had high hopes for him only a few short years ago. Always thought he had the coolest name in SX/MX. Bummer to hear this.
That’s sad, super talented and still so young. It’s a cruel sport sometimes
Tears rolling down my cheek, love you Stilez
Feels like I was just watching him on a supermini at Loretta's while Kevin Kelly crack jokes as he announced. Sucks to see somebody so young have to quit from injuries. I was just a local B class racer but I had to stop riding and racing regularly in my early 20's too. And it was really hard for me to do . I can't imagine how hard of a decision it must have been for him.
It's the worst part of the sport. I'm glad to see stuff like the airbag chest protectors from Alpinestars and Shot and advancements that 6d brought in with helmets that pushed other brands to also be better.
I hope that this might end up being a really good thing for him. That his racing will have opened up opportunities and allowed him to meet people that will help him find something he is even more passionate about and he can look back on the day he "quit" as the beginning of the best years of his life.
Damn this sport is tough as hell.
Hopefully he finds something he enjoys doing!
Damn. Ian Trettle, Chris Alldredge, Nick Paluzzi, Dilan Epstein, Gannon Audette, Max Markoff, Bell Brothers, Jessy Nelson, Stroupe, Izzi, Stilez Robertson. Who else am I forgetting? Forkner is still hanging in there..give the man respect.
Pit Row
That's rough but at 23 he can take a couple of years to recharge and get 100% healthy and still be in his prime if he so desires. Or he can get on with life, which is great too.
Cantrell, Falk, Bailey. You got most of the big names
BRUTAL SPORT, HES A GOOD DUDE TOO
Knew I was missing some, thanks. Maybe add that Ferry kid in there as well?
Ferry is still racing.
Does Bobby Bonds count? I know he eventually had a few good years off road......
Matt Leblanc
Aiden Tijero, Mason Gonzalez, Ashton Hayes, Bradley Taft, Kyle Corman, Alex Frye... actually, damn near anyone that ever rode for TLD KTM (almost like there is a thing with that), Blake Green, Mark Worth, Jon Jon Ames, Talon bowed out this year, Ciaran Naran, Kim Savaste, Nico Leocata (just seeing if anyone is actually still reading), Justin Summers (where tf did he go?), Eric Goodson, Andrew Pierce, Kyler West (why not, he was fun for a year or two), Surry, Luke George, Bastian Bogh Damm, TKO, Zac Commans, Charbs, Jarek Balkovic, Darian Sanayei, Justin Hoeft, Tristan Miller, Cameron Cannon, Jayce Pennington, Tanner Stack-
idk, that feels like enough. Love Stilez tho - super hyped for him for what's next. Dude will kill it.
Holy shit, I really was missing some (especially Taft, Frye, Worth, Ames, Talon, Summers, Commans, Sanayei, Hoeft). Add Biseceglia in there.
Leocata, what happened to him? Decided to just live his lavish life in Argentina? His Vurb Platinum is the best one BTW.
He was hanging with them and helping at Lorettas last week.
I miss Mason Gonzalez, had crazy speed, wish his career would’ve panned out much better
Where? His last race result was a year ago according to the vault and even then, he never finished in the top 20. Is he just not qualifying for the top 40? 😬
