New Product Introduction, GRAPHIC'S SAVER! KTM Up First!

Number plate graphics on your KTM peeling up in the corners? We have a product that will prevent that from happening. These will come in the clear form you see here pictured, or if you would like a colored version we have the material in many different colors. Our "Graphic's Savers" will come with new hardware that will bolt right up and hold the saver in place without drilling holes in your plastics or graphics. Price will be $29.95 with $4.95 shipping anywhere in the states. We are Vitalmx Pit Row vendors, so we are announcing the product here first. These are so new we don't have them listed on our sites yet. Please DM us here, call, or contact at either site listed in my signature. We will have other models coming out soon.

What happened to your other thread? Anyway, this is a terrific idea. Honda please! I always rip graphics there. The guy that questioned whether it was an invention somehow failed to see that yours just screws on rather than rivets. If I have to river something, I’d rather just let the graphic rip. It’s gonna have air bubbles at the rivets anyway. Great idea!

The OP might also take care not to use a Red Bull logo in a commercial application (i.e. on the graphics for the demo bike.) I understand that company is SERIOUS about protecting their brand identity.

Cool product, though. Ron, I'm interested in seeing yours too.

Damn that’s a pretty broad and ironclad utility patent. No way getting around that wording. Unless you invent something that sprays on to protect or something.

Decal, when do you think you’ll be releasing yours?

We will be running production late summer / early fall.
The Graphic Guards are injection molded. Using clips that are molded onto the guard as well as using the side plate mounting bolt. They are pretty sweet.
(Yes, the patent is solid)
We already have a partnership set up for distribution. These will be available through DeCal Works as well as most Dealers and Distributors that carry the Polisport plastic line.

Was the activation initiated today on the patent? I am not 100% sure how that works, but on the link for the patent, it shows todays date....?

Patent was filed on 2008-11-17 and granted 2012-05-08.

Today's date just shows that the patent is still active/not expired. Check tomorrow and it'll have 2019-06-29.
The patent is set to expire on 2030-10-13.

Thanks for the quick response! Credit where credit is due. I have a few utility patents in my industry and I know how much work it is to bring something to fruition only to have someone knock it off. I’m sure the OP probably just didn’t research enough and didn’t intend to knock your product off, but nonetheless terrific idea. I’m sure you’ll sell a ton!

Sign me up for a set for my 2016 CRF250R. I’ve had to but multiple sets of number plate graphics over the years and would love a product like this.

Those CMT ones are the bees knees!

Funny this topic was brought up because I had approached UFO Plastics and Polisport around 2011-2012 pertaining to this EXACT product (my name for them were Plate Savers)...it was right around the same time that I had invented the Lay Over Stand.

I will have to look back on my email to see what the correspondence was with both of them back then.....

I went to edit the spelling of a word and hit the delete button by accident. Not wanting to use rivets was the inspiration for making them.

It's no different than the first holeshot device in that someone made a neat device and others followed suit. They're just mad that they'll be the third ones to the party and lose out on sales. PM me and I'll order a set from you.
