Consumers are their own worst enemy ,they all convince themselves they need an updated model every 2 or 3 years then complain about the price it takes to have a new model every 2 to 3 uears.

A lot of great takes in this thread. After growing up moto, I've ridden trials on and off for 25 years. The best advice I am reading is to go to an event. Just riding around can get boring and doesn't represent what trials REALLY is. Like moto, you jump for show and corner for dough. Once the ribbons go up and points count, it changes everything. This has been on my mind since I saw the announcement from Washougal. I do not have a positive opinion of the AMA, but I will point out that AMA Pro Racing is not the same organization or personnel as the AMA that governs local amateur events. If I have to join the AMA to race a couple of events a year and it helps to keep the track open, I can deal with that. Jay Clark is still using an angle grinder for a chain breaker, toilet bowl acids for bike cleaner, and Chinese pot metal for parts, all with gleeful enthusiasm and a "you can TOO" attitude, if any of that interests you.

I've been following this Denecke Racing Technologies YZ400 two stroke build for a while and it's pretty interesting. He is using a cylinder off of a snowmobile, with quite a few mods. I believe he is the guy that started Apex, the cylinder head guys. He doesn't do really flashy or polished videos but the project is pretty damn interesting. I read about the YZ155 that these guys built. After much digging I came across Pasha and we connected. We agreed on the build and the motor arrived a few weeks ago!!! Stroked and bored to a 155, Polished Transmission, Custom Head, Lectron Pro, Rekluce Race Clutch, Hyrdo Clutch so I could mount a ASV/Clake Dual Rear Brake. My right leg is lifted 3/4" as it is 1 1/2" shorted from riding dirt bikes.😂 Broke it in last week and does it ever rip!! I race select races at 75 years young here in the NW and do lots of...

Post viral fatigue. He Got sick a few weeks ago & lacked energy & was off. Id guess he still has effects of it. He is fine first half of the mains then he really drops off the pace. It would also explain his lack of aggression. & he can then be truthful that he is not ‘injured’. Also explains how he can test during the week. If i had that i wouldnt tell my competitors. The toyota tacoma, the glock 19, the aluminum frame YZ250. What do they all have in common? They're all exceedingly boring and I own each 1 of them.
