No one is forcing him out. He says himself that he's stepping away by choice. It sounds like an expensive hobby that started costing too much and was not sustainable. Bummer that it didn't work out but travel is expensive. I had the dream of going to races and covering races and uh being part of the sport that I love and I'm stepping away from it and I am not going to cover races in 2027. I am able to cover races if I wanted to. I was going to be able to be approved and be an editorial...

T-Fish Added a reply to Mass Moto-Media exodus coming in 2027?
10/12/2026 1:42pm Not only that, but I firmly believe many of the photographers/videographers were selling photos/videos to parties other than the ones they were credentialed with. The fact they don’t own any of what they create, that’s a problem that Feld is doing their best to take care of. Someone correct me if I’m wrong, but that’s how I see it.

A spectator’s fee is fucking ridiculous. Nothing but greed.

Dear god please don’t have it at Ironman. That is unless they make changes to bring it back to its former glory

Burkeen is absolutely the best version of the "iPhone media guy". Shows what it's like to really be there and catches all the stuff you would never see anywhere else, like Kitchen and Coenen on the start straight playing rock paper scissors to see who could go first.

9/20/2026 11:28am Remember when we all thought RC was just giving DB a little shit here and there? Maybe there’s more to his comments. It obviously wouldn’t be the first time he’s had issues with someone that’s better in the booth than himself.

You sure about that? I haven’t seen the release form racers and teams have to sign to participate, so I don’t know. Maybe you have?

9/19/2026 10:29am Except they don’t. Feld/MX Sports are the owners of any and all content created by those in a vest, per the agreement made when applying for credentials. That’s how I read it.

9/17/2026 11:44am I'm guessing they're pissed off about the people selling images and videos to riders, teams, and businesses when they don't own the media to begin with. If that's the case, it's very understandable. Where do you think the photos from the ads we see and what each rider posts for social media come from? They don't come from the stands...

9/14/2026 8:17am They aren't "banning" a bunch of the media next year. They're changing how they do things as far as media goes, but that's not the same as being banned.

First, I would ask people to please stop calling me Dazzy. Then, I would probably handle this week just like every other week my sons race each other except there would be less stress knowing one of them is going to win a championship.

8/19/2026 6:23pm I’m not sure I agree with the manufacturers footing the bill too much in this sport. They do this for marketing so they can sell motorcycles. Marketing costs money.

For the 2nd moto start today, most have seen Kitchen and a few other riders tangling up and blowing the first turn and headed towards that photographer. Well, that photographer was me haha. I've seen comments online asking if I was fine and to answer, yes, I got out of that situation somehow completely unharmed. I went right back to shooting pictures after that. I know someone was less than a foot from my back at one point, but regardless, I made it out safely (and 1000% lucky). Feel free to follow my Instagram/Facebook/TikTok at @svn94photo. I will be at...
