I hope. There were some people riding there recently, just one day. Other than that, no activity that I’ve seen or heard. I have heard after summer may open back up. That’s just hearsay though.

The recent Deegan USA topics made me realize I might need to throw a reminder out here. The rule gets misinterpreted. You can break the 40 points, it's just at that point you can't do anymore if you still want to go to Loretta Lynn's. If you race three rounds or break the 40 points threshold, you have to give up your amateur eligibility to race your next national. So you either park it until LL's, or if you do another national you can't go back to LL's. I know they're going to re-word the rule for 2024 to try and eliminate some confusion.

I haven’t talked to Dean about it yet. But I think they were just able to get some dirt and wanted to try and bring in more business. From what it sounds like, the turnouts were getting a bit low so they put clay on it to maybe attract new riders. I think eventually it will go back to sand. But again, I haven’t talked to them, nor have I been there.

Just watched a video of the new Orlando Mx track…. Looks like all clay…. Very disappointing for me..I get the maintenance benefits of clay but why not just make some of the big jumps clay based? IMO the clay/hard pack, big jump tracks chase away many old school/vet riders into hare scrambles/ enduros. I like jumps just as much as anyone but nothing gets you in a fitness base like a rough sand track. Unreal, I have a better sand track in upstate NY than we do in South East Florida…

I’ve never really been a Forkner fan mainly due to his cocky attitude early in his career. Having said that, I now feel myself rooting for him especially after all he has been through the last couple years. The kid can’t buy a break that’s for sure! Hopefully Ryno can help him get on track and back to being competitive. Heal up AF!

I was standing probably 10 feet away from whoever was filming this . Tom came into that corner with a lot more speed than all the other riders near him……it was impressive, until it wasn’t
