Wow.........curious what a US aftermarket unit could do. I would guess those drain power?
Same as what a European aftermarket could do..
silencers rarley rob power, they just move it from one place to another. People often get fooled to think that louder is faster.
if you look at the new ktm two stroke tbi silencers they look like a four stroke silencer with a really large canister, but i doubt that a PC shorty or what ever would do any massive gains.
Never seen a TM other pics. Must not have many dealer in the US. Pretty sure there isn’t one in Houston and we have one or two of about everything. Frames look Honda to me.

Actually they are hand made from Italy. They only make a small amount of them each year. You can customize your bike too. They are works of art.
They were everywhere in SoCal for a year or two not that long ago. You’ll still see a couple guys on one at Glen Helen every now and then. They were racing some ngpc stuff I think? Rodrig Thain was racing one in the west coast off road stuff for a bit few years ago. Don’t know what happened as they’re not around the track much anymore.
Not that I would buy one, have a deposit down on a Beta but what does a TM cost. I thought I saw a price list once and for std models they were about what an Austrian bike was but I could have dreamed it too.
For years and years people were wondering if TM was ever going to homologate their bikes in the US and put up a race team. There were a few times where they had an mxgp team, but it never pushed them to that next level of recognizability, availability, or sales.
They had always seemed like they were the “next up” brand that some day would go racing and finally break out. How did Beta, a fellow Italian brand, manage to completely pass them out and now enter the arena with the big 5? Not only that but Triumph AND Ducati both came out of left field and are themselves putting together a US race team before TM. How did this happen? Triumph and Ducati are literally starting from scratch, while TM has had race 250f’s for years. Why are they able to do it and TM isnt? Could TM still come on to the scene at a later point?
I don't know what they do or if it is because of my childhood loving the 93'ish TM's, but any time I see a clean TM I am like watching a ferrari. For me the sexiest bike by far as always.

TM has no interest in homologating their bikes. They don’t want to up production. TM is basically an incredibly rich mans passion project and it’s been going steady for around 50 years.
I wonder if their FI 2-stroke 125 works better than the KTMs. I noticed one pic showed a 300 but didn’t say FI after it. 250, 125, and 144 had FI after.
Production TM colourway has looked ugly for years. The light blue is the nicest colour of all the manufacturers yet they insist on making their bikes mostly white. Baffling to me.

Part of that statement is false .Tm aim to double production to 5000 in short term . then later try to reach 10000 units.
Thats why they invested millions in expanding the factory.
Also that maybe one of the reason that tm dont make theire iwn wheels and sprocket anymore.
Still don't know what was new on the 23s, what's new on the 24s?
Meh on the muted colors this year.
TMs are works of art and the colors should be representative of that.
2023 was ment to be released whit 9mm clutch master , but seemingly it only got implemented late 23.
Think the en 2t got crank case sensor in late 23.
Anyone know why the silencer is so huge on the 125 in the top pic?

Who is the TM importer in the USA now?
I do not know.....but I know thjey have contacted at least one person asking if they were interested in becoming the US Importer.
Wow.........curious what a US aftermarket unit could do. I would guess those drain power?
Feel like its hard to sell bikes without a pro team or at least a few guys out there racing them in MX/SX
Last time I checked there was only a dozen dealers in the whole USA.
Same as what a European aftermarket could do..

Not blown away by the colors, but that can easily be changed.

I like the Eastern Bloc look, would have been better with a grey front fender

Pit Row
There was a handful of guys racing the EX series last year. They always sounded bad ass!

Triumph and Ducati have deep pockets.
They only produce a very limited amount of bikes and sell out every year.
Up in Canada we have a new distributor (Camstyn on here) down south Ralf is still the distributor I believe for now.

What happened to the rumours of TM coming back to GP's? And what about the rumours of the whole company being sold to a chinese company?
TM had a good shoring in the EMX 125 and 300 series.
