It had been a while since I used them, and I was thinking it didn’t really matter. A sticker would s a sticker.
But the customer service through Sean was amazing. The design help unbelievable. Then the quality of the product and ease of application was worlds better than what I have become used to. Even template seems like it fits the bike better.
thank you Sean and Decal Works! I am never again going elsewhere.

Sean is the man, for sure!
Good looking scooter, but I'm gonna have to ask you to put an X after that number
That is a great looking bike. I have also heard nothing but good things about Decal Works.
Hi Sean…… just kidding, Decal works is awesome…

Bike looks good, but certainly not the company I’ll be spending my money with for my new bikes.
Sean and decal works are amazing. Only place I’ll go for my graphics.
Why? They're one of the few brands that do things by the books... They actually pay for the licensing for brand logos printed on the graphics.
Personally, I prefer to advertise for the companies on my bike without paying them to do so. PNG images work fine.
I can’t stand people who post this stuff and then don’t say why.

That's weird, not releasing it just sitting back selling backgrounds until someone else tries to sell them and then boom "we have a patent", all.while being woefully unaware of CMT's option 😂
Can't say I like it, but it's business and that's how it goes, can't really hold it against Decal Works.
I fully understand why they sat on it for a decade, but it also says a lot about them, IMO. I know a few people that haven’t used them since and, yes, I’m also aware they don’t care about just a few customers. Drop in the bucket to them.
I hear you dude, man's gotta draw his own line on what's acceptable and fair play for sticking to your guns 👍
I'm usually pretty quick onto a moral crusade bandwagon haha, but I don't reckon I can really knock them for that in the real world. Each to their their own 🙂
All I can say is Decal Works saved my ass!!!
Years ago I was doing my very first Motorcycle Dealer trade show in Indianapolis Indiana.
3 1/2 months before the February trade show I ordered custom graphics from PG Graphics that was located near me in Statesville North Carolina. I have worked with the original owner of PG several times in the past but he had sold the company.
At 1 month PG Graphics said were still working on it. After 2 months PG Graphics said they were still working on it. At 3 months now 1 week before I leave for the show PG Graphics said they still had not made them and if I wanted to pay them an additional $100 they would bump me to the top of the list. At this point I was freaking out and posted about what was going on here on Vital but had not posted the graphics company’s name.
The next day I received a phone call out of the the blue from someone Decal Works 1st to make sure it wasn’t them and to see if they could help me out of this predicament! They quickly designed the graphics, made them and shipped them so I could put them on the day before I left for Indy !
Now the next problem … an ice storm in Kentucky had stopped the UPS shipment. Decal Works was on top of it with UPS and arranged the shipment to head to my hotel in Indianapolis by the time I arrived .
The I was able to set up my booth and put on my Decal Works graphics saving my day!
Over the years I have tried a couple other local graphics company’s but their graphics were either very thin or the design was hacked up when they printed them.
BTW PG Graphics folded …. I just can not imagine why.
My latest Decal Works graphics that I purchased already applied on new plastic.
I forgot all about PG. I had excellent luck with them and was bummed to see them go.
Sean is the best to work with at Decal Works … he is pretty quick on a motorcycle too!
They're the best and have always been.
Yep Sean is very helpful and patient. Because of his customer service, is why I always go to Decal Works for my graphics.
Pit Row
i Got my first set from Decal Works and my most recent from Bike Graphics. Both were great quality. BG was cheaper.
I haven't bought custom graphics in years, but here is my experience from the mid 2000's. I've never had an issue with any company regarding material, they've all been solid.
Bike Graphix | 2006ish. Old school fill-out form. The only issue was airbox cover was nowhere close to being the correct size, couldn't use them. If I recall, the fork guards were slightly off as-well
N-Style | 2010ish - Pre-Print backgrounds only. Good enough, but I had my name on the front plate across the top, and they used the smallest font known to man. It only covered around a 1/4 of the area and looked dumb
Decal | 2012ish - Updated configurator so I could pick the style/color/logos. They nailed it, it looked awesome and they installed it, which is a huge bonus
Factory Effex | Last year - Pre-Print backgrounds only. Dirt cheap, and super basic, no issues.
In this day and age, I wouldn't consider a full kit without a configurator, the old-school fill-out forms are so outdated I don't know how those companies survive.
Backyard has the best configurator, Era is a close second but their limited designs, colors, and logos are a hindrance. As I said before, I had a great experience with Decal, but their website is now falling behind. They need the ability to change the bike colors, I hate seeing an orange frame KTM when it should be black, makes it very hard to picture what the bike would actually look like. Or when im trying to build graphics for 07 CR 250 and the template is a modern 450.
People are mad about decal works having a patent and expressing that? lol Thats literally the reason behind having a patent lol
Nobody is mad about them having a patent. Try and keep up.
It’s more about them sitting on the patent for more then a decade, and only saying something and putting it into production when someone comes up with the same thing. To me, it proves they really aren’t there FOR the customer, just their own bank account (which I understand because it’s a business).
This is great...lol
Nobody is mad...I just won't ever do business with them again
They sat on the patent...then only enforced it when someone came up with the same thing
They aren't for the customer, just trying to make money...which I totally understand but can't stand!
I’m not asking anyone to agree with me and I don’t care if they do or not.
As far as me never doing business with them again goes, that’s not true. I’ve never bought anything from them and I won’t. I don’t feel it was the best move morally, and it’s my opinion. We’re all welcome to have one and they don’t all have to be the same.
I made this post, which is not something I normally do, because of the off the chart customer service I received on a single graphics order. No less than 30 emails, a few texts, and multiple phone calls. This was literally the best service I have ever received for anything Moto.
Not to mention a lifetime of seeing Decal Works support local riders and shops I know. I don’t know of a company that cares more about the individual customer.
Thank you guys. Posts like these make me grateful for waking up every day doing what I love. The entire crew at DeCal Works appreciates you all.
I must know...Dusty Butts?
We have a small Horse Ranch out here in Utah. The butts, are indeed all very dusty. 😀
Haha that's perfect! Good name to have as a "sponsor." Definitely got my attention.
Love me some Tooele. Spent a good chunk of time in the fall of 2009 out there and other than the wind, it was great. Pretty much ate at Dairy Delight and Casa Del Rey in Grantsville exclusively (which is now Virg's, sadly). That place had amazing Mexican food...
