Looks to be the past management for the last 20 years, Star turned the bike around very quick. Most of us wrote Plessiger off a year ago.

Maybe I'm an old soul but it seems motocross tracks these days are all about the big jumps. What happened to rough natural terrain hills. I think we need to get back to old school motocross. Imo

Absolutely agree. Just put a piston in mine, and the engineering is incredible. I was only top end deep, but noticed a few things: - Ports are dang near perfect. No valve seat mismatch. The seat to port is smoothed by hand on every head. Pretty sure that’s what Honda calls “ported” on their WE. - Roller cam bearings. This means you won’t destroy the head instantly if it runs dry. - The breather system is absolutely genius. It vents through the back of the hollow cam, and there are angled cross-drilled holes near the cam sprocket that let air...

I’m not sure the GasGas (still a dumb name) is necessarily the best out there...but it was pretty amazing for them to have the setup they had at H1, when a lot of other factory teams...that actually had base settings from last season to at least start with, looked like they were having real issues. Gotta give GG credit...as well as Justin Barcia!
