Such a pity. Hammer 663 is one of the better dudes on Vital and now the shit-show has driven him away. @ML needs to consider a cleanup. There are a bunch of dudes who contribute nothing worthy to the threads, instead, they go out of their way to cause shit amongst members. I've been here since 2008 and this is by far the worst I've seen. The Vital reputation will suffer if this continues in the current direction. My two cents.

Lol that was probably the most logical take that I have seen on this issue. He's not accusing but he is acknowledging that the optics of it are also not very good. I was so surprised by how Weege just couldn't seem to understand what the issue is when it's been discussed at length time and time again across multiple platforms. But I feel like the sentiment some of these guys show sometimes toward fans online (on Vital, social media, etc) can be so dismissive... it's like they're writing off the biggest, most tuned-in focus group they could ask for, that's literally at their fingertips, all because of the 10% of trolls and assholes that just talk shit. I dunno… When a guy can be a 9-5 Regular Joe & go out and race with this crowd, he may have an entirely different perspective than the average fan. He might even have a sarcastic view of the “factory rider” life and be a bit annoyed at some of the whining he hears and sees. With that taken into account, I can see where he’s coming from. I don’t need to agree with it, but it’s interesting to hear.

I’ve had this feeling lately that for local races we should all go to the Loretta’s model. Just age and no skill divisions. An a/b/c split for adults in increments of 5 years is so much. We’re adults. We can handle getting 12th against people our age. Also would make local purse money bigger
