I think the most important concept from this thread is to get the floor done long before anything is moved in or any other work is done. Been in my shop since 2003 and I screwed up by only using roll on epoxy paint. Of which it is mostly worn off. Now it is beyond my comprehension on how to move everything out and redo the floor. Bike lift, tool boxes, shelves with parts, project bikes. I might as well move and start in a new garage. 🙄🙄🙄

This man gets it.... ^^^^^ Deterrent is the key word here. Based on some of the responses in this thread, you can see why criminals are so emboldened these days. Realistically, you start with just the tip of a finger. Repeat offender, the whole finger goes. They steal again...a couple more fingers. If it continues, then the hand. Then the other hand. You can't really steal anymore with no hands.

Seems the owner of the hands is the one who would make the decision if the material worth would be greater the the value of thier hands, thats why its called a deterrent. Seems a lot of horrible crimes are commited and the deterrent of a nice cell and 3 squares is not enough of a deterrent. Not sure what the penalty should be, but crimes sure seem to out pace the punishment.

When I was in school we had a guy named Isaiah Whiting. He would steal bicycles at the elementary school on a daily basis. Police never did much. When he was in high school he cracked a kid in the head with a baseball bat and went to prison for murder. A little deterrent might have saved a life, but doing nothing ended one.

100% What would drive a dad to forge a birth certificate just so his 8 yr old could beat up on 4-6 year olds??? Then on top of that to STEAL from other kids to make that happen...fuk that guy I have two boys that race and we take our losses and our wins in the same manner...fair and square... it's the same mentality that causes the C class to be full of the fastest local guys you can find...the race to the bottom for that trophy from Tennessee...like it matters... ride with your kids, teach them to love the...

I value my morning dump more than the lives of thieves, rapists, pedos, and murderers. If we brought back public executions in town square, you’d have a very polite society. Instead we’ve turned soft and worry about the perpetrators feelings instead of getting retribution for the victims.

He’s from my area. A real piece of work. I had a bike stolen in Aug so this hits home. I feel bad for the people that lost their stuff. Unfortunately the kid will end up just like his dad. Hope I’m wrong and he can find a way to make good. His dad’s a big time loser. I agree with the above…cutting off hands would stop this shit quick.

Badass garage, it's giving me some inspiration for the gym part of mine. I really dig the floor epoxy and wall colors. What's the green piece of equipment against the wall? What exercises are you able to do with it?

Those were good times. The truck was always super clean and that whole team was fun to work with. Doing truck tours and meet and greets at each round was a blast.
