My setup for now while renting. Workbench is solid and was here when I moved in. Built the frame for the pegboard out of some old pallet wood and anchored it in the concrete wall. Mini fridge, trash can, and a filing cabinet for some parts/bins. If I need to get one bike on the scissor lift I just spend a minute or two swapping stands. Keep the one in front of the closet door on a stand with a rolling setup to get in and out easy, the filing cabinet in the closet has every single part for the bike on the lift in it, I got both of my cabinets from the trash. They are great for garage storage. The shop light above the bench has a built in speaker that works great, and I have a 32 inch TV out there with a Roku and when the weathers nice I watch the races live, eat some food, and do some bike work out here. The other couple feet before the garage door is occupied by the mower, two KLX110s, and my Honda Ruckus.

That's what I'm talking about, nice shop!  The one about yours is beautiful and would love a clean space like that if having some company (fancy company like family) over but yours is something you can work in and still has the space for buddies to have group bike builds or just watch this weekends SX race. Jealous!

I honestly see no scenario where interest rates are going to drop significantly in the next several years. Unless there’s some Fed shenanigans to help a re-election campaign, nothing related to monetary policy would point to dropping rates and infusing more money into the economy.

Badass garage, it's giving me some inspiration for the gym part of mine. I really dig the floor epoxy and wall colors.

What's the green piece of equipment against the wall? What exercises are you able to do with it?

Whats with all the paper towel rolls Simon?

Whats that grey box to the left of the free weights do? It appears to have an electrical cord and a heater in it?

Cool, looking for tiny garage ideas myself. We currently don't have a garage, and building a "proper" one costs way too much money these days...

Costco bulk pack 🤣. Gotta store them somewhere..

The green piece of equipment folded into the wall is a squat rack. You can do all sorts of stuff with it. Just Google it. It’s nice because it folds up into the wall so it doesn’t take up a bunch of room in my little garage.

and that is a porta cool. You fill it with water and it’s like a fan and works as an AC in the garage. Poor people, air conditioner.🤣

I think the most important concept from this thread is to get the floor done long before anything is moved in or any other work is done. Been in my shop since 2003 and I screwed up by only using roll on epoxy paint. Of which it is mostly worn off. Now it is beyond my comprehension on how to move everything out and redo the floor. Bike lift, tool boxes, shelves with parts, project bikes. I might as well move and start in a new garage.
🙄🙄🙄

The only thing worst than a bare floor, is an epoxy floor that has gone bad.

I feel your pain.
From a 19x26 to a 17x17 (at best).

Going vertical helps a little.
