I have a small displacement problem.

Have added a KTM 950ADV and got rid of a XR650R since this photo though. Great images from everyone. Inspiring me to do something different!

So 12/02/2019 I started working with a new/old company on 4th shift (7am-7pm Friday/Saturday/Sunday) and I have the world by the oysters. I rarely race now, I have many retired and semi retired friends to ride with during the week and I now can strip and rebuild my tiny ass shop (17x17) to function as well as my old one (19x26) sort of. I start pulling out shelves, rearranging storage boxes of 20 plus bikes, and just taking my time to get it spot on. Well, by March, as we all know, everything went to shit and my choices were Unemplyoment or 5 days a week on 3rd shift (10pm to 8am; management).
And this is now what it looks like.
I almost get sick looking at this mess. At least with the previous mess I knew where things were.
Things are looking up, I am getting divorced and I now just have to pack things up, no more redesigning this shop.

Had to be a bit creative to keep 3 bikes, a UTV, and a car in a 2 gar garage.

24' x 36' pole barn. Its a little small but it definitely gets the job done. I have a 4 door RZR 1000 XP that is usually jammed in too. Its insulated behind the plywood panels. Need to finish it the rest of the way.

But
How do you like the pole barn shop? Would you do anything different? Thinking of going this route.

I'm very happy with it. Works well, should last forever. It was existing on my property when we bought it. I would have laid the doors/windows out differently but overall no complaints.

Mine’s a work in progress. Almost insulated and heater is on its way. I’ll tin the inside and update when finished.

My fleet is finally getting the home they deserve. I’m doing a 40x60 shop, insulated with 12x12 doors. Pouring concrete now then doors will go up. I will post updated pictures once completed and bikes are in. The rzr got to spend the first night in it.

Your setup is sweet and exactly what I am looking to do in the near future. You will have to post some updated pictures as it comes together. It has been a pain finding installers that are willing to deal with the permits and LA County Department of Building & Safety in California.

I can’t imagine what it would cost to build that in LA County. The county I live in requires no permits and has no codes other than for septic systems. I’ve done all the trenching, electrical, plumbing, gas and HVAC myself and I’m still about $5k over my estimated budget. The price increase on building materials this year certainly hasn’t helped.

This is my space where many a bike have been built and repaired over the last 10 years. I'm actually starting my new shop in a few months. 30 x 40.

I got the cabinets at Sam's Club. They're called Seville classics Ultra HD which I think is just Sam's house brand. They're nice cabinets and very heavy duty. The floor I had done by a company called Ninja floor coatings. It's really durable and came out awesome.
