Daytona. I drive 14 hours for it. Id drive further. Aside from day in the dirt, freestone, and ponca, I've done the rest of the big ones. Daytona is an absolute blast. So surreal sitting on the line looking at the stands.

Rookie, im 2 hours from high point and rode the vet race once (last year). They cut too much of the track out in my opinion for it to be worth any kind of drive. I drive 6 to red bud vet fest though.

Lorettas isnt worth it any more because of the nickle and diming it takes to make it happen. Pretty useless unless you're a top prospect. The stress alone it puts on people can suck the fun right out of it.

Does your answer change if you know Mike Brown is going to be there? Tongue

Lol! Nah. This was just as bad tho.. 😆 im in the black.

Shortly after this photo i ate shit in the sand section and separated my shoulder. Couple laps later as i was nursing it around the track Dakota Kessler was pressuring the 800 and i watched him wad it on the tunnel jump as i was preparing to move out of their way as a lapper. Once i saw he wasnt hurt i was pumped for Kessler getting the W.

How about that guy on my right tho?!

Mid 30’s with no hopes of a pro career so more focused on the experience. Wether it’s on an iconic track like Mammoth or just a cool event to be at like Big Hill Jam doesn’t matter to me.

Mammoth, World Vets. Red Bud vet fest, SouthWick vet race. Day in the dirt

Yeah as long as you like to be charged for breathing the air and taking a piss.  I don't plan to do another one of their events again.  They turned what was a great track at Ponca into a piece of crap.

Nearly every race being mentioned here is charging for the same things that Motoplayground is charging for.

There's a gate entry fee, camping fee, hookups if available, pit vehicle, practice and race fees, and transponder.

Welcome to big races, it's not cheap and it's not for everyone, but we have a great time at the select events we attend. Wish we could do more, but it is what it is.

Last time we went to Ponca I just felt like they over promised and under delivered.

NGPC races are pretty sweet if you’re out west & want to ride 45 minute motos. 90 minutes for pros, 25 A & a couple other classes

Unadilla if they run an event on the national track.

Also, High Point did a grass track event a couple years ago that looked epic.  They just marked the track and sent riders out.  No prep.  Old school Unadilla style.

The amateur Summer Classic is on the pro track this year. Also, the Rewind, if you got a 2 smoker!
