I know there's a trucker or two around this place so thought I'd make a thread for them. It's often a thankless job but someone's got to it and after all if it weren't for those guys the bikes wouldn't show up at the races.

If you got more feel free to post them up.

I apologize in advance for the long post.

I love those 90's paint jobs so sick. Most rucks look pretty boring these days.

|

I used to think I was indecisive, but now I'm not too sure.

8/26/2018 4:13 PM

Cool post man, I’ve always had sort of a fascination with the haulers for any kind of racing even though I’m not into transport trucks/18 wheelers per se. They are really nice on the inside these days too

|

8/26/2018 4:21 PM

Very cool post. The truck drivers are sometimes the team owners too.

|

8/26/2018 4:27 PM

Yes! First best post of the official off season. Surely the moto the trolls can't pick a typing fight with this one.

Thanks bud. Can you post some extra For the insides of the medical rigs? Not fast enough to get mangled at these " big boy " races but always had so much respect for them.

|

8/26/2018 4:28 PM

cool post.
a lot of those rigs are still around.
for instance, the Yamalube/star rig is now the AJE team.
The TwoTwo rig is now Babbitts and it's for sale unless its been sold recently.

I saw the thread title and thought, hey I can add to this post with my shots from Red Bud in 96 & Unadilla in 1997. You already posted my shots though so you beat me to it. I always digged the Honda of Troy rig

I'd have to look for pics for some inside shots of the medical rigs. I've seen some before but never thought of saving them.

No one ever plans to land inside that rig but it's a good thing to have a qualified team of health professionals at the races in the case you do end up needing their services.

I was just going to comment a few of these rigs have been sold off and recycled to various teams. The MS/Suzuki/Albertson rig was previously owned by HRT.

|

8/26/2018 5:28 PM

Excellent post! I'm a fan of the Alpinestars rig! Love it!
