Nice work for a first race. It'll only get better from here and the opening round product was very promising. (From a big AX fan at home watching...) Over 35 pros hasn't been seen in awhile. Live coverage was sweet. The track created separation between the fast guys and the not as fast guys and was fun to watch. There were real "names" there. I was worried about the amount of racing with only 1 pro class, but because the rider count worked, the number of heats/semis/LCQ plus two mains made it work. The timing/show flow/race lengths seemed really good...

11/19/2022 5:00pm Peter’s won the first main. He was battling for the lead in the second. There is no doubt that Kyle is on a different level. Josiah might just be at that level also….Tune in and watch the Albany event live next Friday to see it first hand.

I'm glad to see the track design is more difficult like the Amsoil Arenacross series was. The whoops at round 1 were massive! Peters is on another level. But there were some good battles in the pack. I'm a fan.

This. Back in the late 90s and most of the 2000s, you could make an okay amount of money racing your bike at series like Amsoil. There were also multiple really good regional AX series with strong turnouts and pro payouts. Like the Mid South and others. SX is so top heavy as a sport and expensive to follow around, for some riders who would never make it to a team seat, sticking regional and crushing it every weekend sometimes two times a weekend used to pay the bills a lot better than it does now I think.
