Working in the MC industry for over 40 years I have seen all 3 take their time at the top #1 position at one point. I remember the launch of WPS at Indy where each day all the large staff showed up wearing a different colored WPS pit shirt each day. It was definitely eye catching! I think this is good timing for them. In my area, WPS is really strong, but since the company was sold, the new owners seem to be working hard to cut expenses. They have reduced the money they are spending on local sponsorships and promotions, and when reps have left recently, their positions haven’t been refilled. Their territories have just been split up and absorbed into other surrounding territories. Makes me wonder if the new owners are planning to keep and grow the company, or just trim fat to make it more profitable then flip it.

What do you guys opt for at rainy races for spectating? I’ve got a fox rain coat that must be 20+ years old. Living in so cal it hasn’t gotten a lot of use over the years so I’ve got that to keep me dry up top. Wondering if I should grab something for my legs so my pants don’t get soaking wet Sat night.

I dont have the slightest clue what people seem to think is so awesome about a hydraulic clutch. Especially on a 4 stroke that needs very little clutch work and therefore will be subject to little or no clutch fade. People just want what they want, usually for no clear reason. The cable clutch on the Yamaha is the best out there, there is zero reason for Yamaha to put the heavier, more complicated hydraulic clutch on it.

The 2024 KTM350xcf (not sxf) FE is not really a woods bike…it is a cross country/do it all bike. It has a 18” vs 19” rear wheel, a 6 not 5 speed transmission, a slight larger gas tank, a kickstand, suspension valving between the sxf and exc (KTM’s woods racer), and Red Bull/FMF factory edition graphics and other bling (orange anodized parts).
