Is that cut out bigger than the one we have seen pics floating around for the last few months?

Curious about those airbox block offs, think we’ll see those available to the public?

His lag of whoop speed at Paris didnt show his current setup is working. Do production 250f and 450f share same frame?

Yes 250, 350, 450 have the same frame starting in 2023.

I like the GasGAs factory editions way better.  Guess I like red.

I think that looks really good. Any idea if chase is on air? Looks like stock tubes, but I can’t find any pics of the forks caps

Exactly! And they've been doing BNG way longer than Yamaha.

It seems strange they blocked off the airbox holes underneath the seat, similar to the Husky.  They always point out  that difference in the shootouts and say how it makes the power delivery feel different between the KTM and Husky engines.

Ever since they went away from the Dungey chassis it's been downhill. Hopefully they have reverted back to some of the older chassis characteristics. I just hope Sexton doesn't loose any steps from Jett and Tomac is all I care about.

May just be race team spec, usually to pass sound. Roczen’s RM-Z450 side panel is also blocked off on the exhaust side only, just for that reason…Time will tell

I can’t say I’ve seen these fork caps, any ideas what cartridges they are?

EDIT. Never mind, that’s Toms bike and he’s on cone valves

Seems like the KTM group is getting lenient about their 48mm fork usage for their Factory riders. Webb might have had something to do with that. Now that Sexton is the main guy, I'm sure they want to cater a little more to make their rider's feel confident in the suspension.

They have a factory 350 XCF. It pretty much looks like the 450/250 FE. I don't think you will see a 350 FE SXF unless they start racing it.

What do you mean lenient? Plessinger ran the stock AER outdoors most or all of this year and at the end of last year. Musquin ran it a couple of outdoor races last year too. The new chassis is stiff enough it doesn't seem to need the larger diameter forks.

That's trash I don't want a woods bike.  It's just stupid not to make a 350FE also.

The 2024 KTM350xcf (not sxf) FE is not really a woods bike…it is a cross country/do it all bike.  It has a 18” vs 19” rear wheel, a 6 not 5 speed transmission, a slight larger gas tank, a kickstand, suspension valving between the sxf and exc (KTM’s woods racer), and Red Bull/FMF factory edition graphics and other bling (orange anodized parts).  It’s the next best thing/as close as you can get the the sxf FE if you prefer the add ons of the FE without the 450 power.  The KTM GNCC teams use them since a 450 is generally too much for woods riding…

That 350XCF has spring forks too for all the air fork haters.
