By the time I got back to our hotel, i couldn't breath out of my nose at all!! Completely congested. Then Sunday morning, it felt like I had a cross between gravel and acid in my eyes....and they were super red. I actually had a dentist appointment this morning, and she asked "have you been sick? your throat is super red!"

I am having the same issues. I woke up Sunday morning and my wife said I looked extremely hungover which I wasn't. I am shocked they didn't open the roof all the way at least for the night show.

There were 7 in my crew Saturday night and we were all fukd Saturday night into Monday and some until Tuesday. This was not from pollen lol. Bloodshot eyes, scratchy voice, headaches to name a few symptoms.

I got this after the event on Sunday morning and it helped my eyes immensely. I couldn’t fall asleep on Saturday because my eyes were so irritated. My congestion went away fairly quickly, but my eyes were still red as of yesterday but are much better today. That solution worked very well for me.

There's a large difference between the local 'Harry's Cycle Shop' and a billion dollar conglomerate. Nobody is going to villainize the mom and pop shop if they're making tough business decisions to stay afloat. Color me jaded but I think Vista Outdoors would've been just fine regardless...

It's not that sales are necessarily going down that is the issue. So many brands had a super hard time getting inventory with any regularity so they would make bigger orders so that they could go longer between shipments. But then the lead times shrunk very quickly so a lot of brands ended up getting totally dumped on with inventory. So if you have 3x as much on hand than you need you start to freak out and do things to cut costs to help with the added overhead. Also a ton of brands/companies were bought and sold the last...

I agree with Falcon. This is how the game works. Further, no longer are these companies (Fox, Bell etc.) run by founders that wanted to build great products. These companies were sold to a conglomerate that is run by bean counters. Accounts. With out making this a 2-page reply there were some decent things that were done in the case of Fox Factory. But by and large the folks with passion, the product driven guy/gals that built the business... they are pushed aside by the bean counters 1-4 years after the acquisition. Shout to Dave Bell up in Ontario Canada. If you have raced CMA, CMC, CMRC, FMX, Sno-cross, Monster trucks, even go-carts, or any other Sanctioned event in Ontario in the last 30+ years, he has probably called the race. He is a true professional. He gets to know the racers, mentions your sponcers (sp?), keeps up with the action on the track as well as the battles not at the front. Always tells you what class is up next and who's at the gate. I wish he announced SX Its actually worth going to the races just to hear him...

I appreciate when an announcer at a local track realizes that the most important information he/she can give, is what moto # is on the gate.

I once got block passed during practice by a younger guy on a huge track with no one else around. I thought about retaliating but I was too winded 😂
