This weekend was rounds 1 and 2 of the Washougal Classic 7 series. It's an all-Washougal Summer race series that has big gates in almost every class. "Summer" is a variable term here. 
My boy raced 125 Masters as prep for Mammoth Quals next weekend at Hangtown. It's a little above his grade, but you want to get faster, you race the fast guys right? I searched the archive and didn’t find a specific thread, and was inspired by someone starting the thread “the shop banner” which made me think of the banners I have in my shop. Drop your setup pics and add any fun info. I enjoy having a lush vibe with rich colors and memorabilia littered throughout my shop. I also have a couch in the garage that isn’t seen and off to the left. Recent additions are a new Kawasaki ninja 2000 psi electric washer that does more than get the job done when matched with Shout.

I think that's basically right. The dealers are, among other things, a layer of insulation between the manufacturer and the consumer. This is actually very valuable to the manufacturers.

I forgot about Maier....that stuff was brittle, milk-jug quality junk as I recall.... I don't mind buying stuff from Taiwan or Japan at all...China is another story...I try to avoid it at all costs....

FTC Order Requires Motocross and ATV Parts Maker Cycra to Pay for Falsely Claiming Its Products Were Made in USA " Monetary judgment: The order includes a monetary judgment of $872,577, which is partially suspended based on an inability to pay. Cycra and James will be required to pay $ 221,385.66." At least they manufactured the lie in the USA. That's got to count for something!

I would not spend over $6K for a 2 year old 450 unless it has less than 15 hours on it, trail ridden, vet owned, etc. Better off getting a new bike for about ~$1500-$2K more. As stated above, new bike pricing is getting aggressive to move inventory. You can find good deals on new bikes.
