We all understand that it's just "one more race". I think the difference might be the fact that there will be a small break between the end of outdoors and the beginning of SMX in which the riders will have to keep training whereas now they can take time off. Supercross testing typically starts in...October? And then the heavy training loads start ramping up November-ish? I don't see much time in there for rest & relaxation. I understand that it's still better than a "real job"; I just don't want to see our top riders retiring at 26.

300 are bigger bore 250 only. Stroke is 72mm with the big bores having 72mm bore as well, so square at 72mm x 72mm and 293cc. Strokers are a lot more work with extensive crank/crankcase changes, head work for increased stroke, reed block and carb work. Big bores on a 250 usually bump up the bottom-mid power considerably and feel flat on top due to not having enough crankcase volume, stroke and airflow through carbs and reeds. They are really close to peak power of the 250 and feel flatter due to the bottom end having much more torque. I...

12/19/2017 6:47am Ya shosh anadized a couple cast parts. from what i could tell they came back like a matte color. It has something to do with the pores opening up during the anodizing process. This is a pretty sweet build. Looking foreard to the finished bike!!
