10/26/2024 6:26am Decided to upload some family pictures after receiving my MRI for stage 4 brain cancer! Luckily, I seem to be defeating it with low glucose and high ketosis! Lowest GKI I've seen is 52 glucose, 4 ketosis (0.8 GKI), while taking Metformin, Ivermectin, Fenbend and chemo. Ready to get back to riding dirt bikes!

Yz229, I'm just seeing this thread for the first time and I'm praying for you along with everyone else. If you don't mind me asking, what were your symptoms that made you start visiting the doctor before you were diagnosed? Did you start getting severe headaches, nausea, or hearing loss? Also, once you learned you had a tumor, how long after that did it take for the doctors to diagnose you with gliosarcoma? Or, was it in early November that you learned about the tumor and the gliosarcoma? It sounds like you had some good news not too long ago...

4/5/2024 7:16am Good luck! I did 7 weeks of radiation, and continuing 5/23 rounds of chemotherapy. Right now doing 2.33x of dosage and blood work still looks perfect. You got this!

4/3/2024 4:53pm Nope not always cancerous. But the standard of care just assumes the worst. Temodar and radiation to the brain can kill you regardless. The strong ones can usually power through. We have an epidemic and a broken system Heading to DC to speak to Congress in May about this.

I'm hanging in there... been some tough days. 3 weeks down, 3 more to go. Everything is going the way they said it would... the more treatments of radiation & chemo, the worse I would feel. My biggest concern is being able to keep the weight on. I've lost 20+ pounds over the last couple of weeks. Dr.'s want me to "put on weight", but that's nearly impossible when it feels like you have an acetylene torch in your throat every time you try and swallow. And no taste buds anymore doesn't help either. Nausea from the chemo just exacerbates...
