One of the best! Let's all send some positive thoughts his way... FYI, listen to the current Whiskey Throttle episode on him.

Get well soon Wardy!
I just started listening to the WT episode with him. He's been through a ton. Hard to believe that he raced his first pro races at 4'11 and ended up being one of the greats the sport has ever seen, then conquered health issues that each could have been the end. Mentally he could have packed it in so many times that it just shows how incredible his spirit really is.
Hopefully his spirit remains strong throughout these battles as well.
Get well soon, Jeff! Loved watching you race back in the day.
Get Well soon! Praying for you.

GWS Wardy!
Hang in there Wardy, you'll be back up and around before you know it. Sending you good thoughts man!
Just had some cancer surgery myself couple months ago, amazed at how quickly things get better.
If it requires toughness, Wardy will prevail. Get well soon, Jeff.
Dang that pic hits home as someone recently diagnosed with glio
Get well soon Wardy!
Karma no. Prayers....yes.
Prayers for skilled docs and quick/complete recovery.
In the middle of watching the WTS part 1 interview. He's fought some cancer and heart issues for a few years.
Wardy is a legend.
Best of luck Wardy!

My K5 tribute to Wardy
Best wishes and listen to the nurses!
A true legend, thoughts and prayers
Heel up Wardy. He didn’t say it’s cancerous. People assume a tumor is always cancerous. I had a huge tumor cut off my back muscle. 2 dr apts they said it was a floater above the back muscle. When they cut it open they discovered it was attached to the back muscle. 2 more rnds of shots because I could feel the cutting. 2 more people helping to cut then pull the tumor. 48 stitches I think. 3 tumors grew into thigh muscle. 3 apts it’s not that big of a deal except for the back muscle 1. Fatty tumors r hedreditory my Dutch grandma & mom had them.
Best of luck to a legend. From his wheelie in On Any Sunday through a great MX/SX career.
Get well soon Champ! We know you are tougher than a $2 steak!! Have you in my prayers.
Wait so supermotocross was around in the 80’s?!
Pit Row
Jeff Ward is a bad motherfucker. Chuck Norris got nervous around him at Carlsbad one day.
Thoughts and prayers, get well soon!!!!!!
I thought it was funny in the WTS interview when he said he had no idea the wheelie was even in the movie until he and his dad saw it in the theater.
Get well soon, Wardy.
Nope not always cancerous. But the standard of care just assumes the worst. Temodar and radiation to the brain can kill you regardless. The strong ones can usually power through. We have an epidemic and a broken system
Heading to DC to speak to Congress in May about this.
Heal up legend! I to listened to the 5hr wts episode. Friggin awsome. I was lucky enough to see him several times racing at Seattle and washougal. Leg out over a double going into a corner. Classic wardy.
When all my friends got the Hondas back then I got a Kawi because of Jeff Ward. Jeff sat and talked with my dad in lawn chairs for a good while while i sat on the race bikes one year and then Jeff remembered him years later and they had some laughs. Jeff is so talented in all forms of racing and always a huge fan. We wish him a speedy recovery.
I’m about to find out myself. I start my Treatments on Monday. I had zero symptoms until the day before they found my two tumors.
Good luck! I did 7 weeks of radiation, and continuing 5/23 rounds of chemotherapy. Right now doing 2.33x of dosage and blood work still looks perfect. You got this!
Lets go Wardy
Who is in the white on the bike?
Yes it was. I got got a photo or two in there. One of the editors and my friend, Fran Kuhn, went on to establish “Inside Motocross”.
Mickey Dymond I think.
Post a reply to: Jeff Ward. Let's all send him some post-surgery positive karma....
