Honestly, the doubles on the Vet Track aren’t so bad that I can’t do them. I just choose to not do some because there is no risk/reward worth doing them at 58 years old that makes sense to me. My point is Cahuilla has enough available dirt to make every jump on the “vet” track a much safer table top...
Most do, you’re correct. Glen Helen is the only one that I’m aware of that doesn’t. Cahuilla has an excellent main track, I just don’t understand why they need to have so many on a vet track. They basically have about 7 or 8 on a “vet” track and that makes zero sense to me. The main focus on this...
So sorry to read about this! It is absolutely a parents worst nightmare. I personally think Cahuilla’s Vet Track is NO Vet Track. I broke my wrist there, and it was 100% my fault, and no body else’s but I personally feel that no “vet track” should have a double jump of any kind. There is no reason anyone over...

What did you have Jaime do and what did it run? He programmed my Vortex for my 16 KTM350SXF. I’m a Smoker guy but I had to try a 350SXF since everyone raves about them.

Jeff Ward and I traveled the Nationals together, sort of, during our rookie year (1978). He was riding an FMF Suzuki, I was on a RM 250C for DG. My mechanic, Tim Buck, and I drove Ward's van and trailer with both of our bikes and parts, while Jeff and his dad, Jack, flew in on the weekends because Jeff was still in high school. Jeff was small and had not yet bulked up, so he felt like he was getting pushed around by the other 125 guys. I remember a few great and honest bench racing sessions with Jack...

Thank God for the No Pit Bike Riding! It’s literally insane going to some tracks watching kids riding around with no helmets zooming through parked cars! After Saddleback closed, there was absolutely no pit riding allowed. At Perris, you had to walk your bike from your pit to the starting gate and from the track exit back to your pits!
