10/13/2026 12:51pm Why would they euthanize an animal that is living in its enclosure? Different story if it's a worker or staff member and shit went wrong, but if you're stupid enough to temp your luck, enter an enclosure you're not supposed to and is there to protect you, well, that's your problem. Play stupid games. Win stupid prizes.

10/13/2026 12:50pm Dude climbed into a pen with a tiger. It did tiger things. End of story. Moral is don't climb into an enclosure with an apex predator.

10/13/2026 12:50pm Visitors banged on the fence to scare Yorkshire Wildlife Park's tiger away. A man had climbed into the tiger enclosure from a raised walkway on Saturday afternoon, one witness told the BBC. Other visitors tried to drive the tiger off by making noise at the fence. Staff then cleared the walkway, where 15 to 20 people had been standing, and later the whole park near Doncaster, England. Paramedics came, but the man died at the scene. Police have asked people not to share videos of what happened. Yorkshire Wildlife Park says the tiger, Altai, will not be euthanized. Sources: BBC...

10/6/2026 3:59pm Makes me wonder how many of the complaints ML gets stem from political posts. I don’t know ML personally, but I think he’s got enough on his plate that if there weren’t any complaints about political posts, he probably wouldn’t care. I could be wrong but I’d bet 2 beers and a bag of chips if people could scroll by without getting butthurt and running to the principal’s office this ban wouldn’t even be a thought. What’s the real problem, anonymous guys arguing about politics online ? Or guys complaining to ML about the guys arguing about politics online...

10/6/2026 3:18pm How about jokes? Tim Walz, Hillary Clinton, Joe Biden, and kamala Harris sat down to play in a bridge tournament.. They were all extremely afraid they would get trumped. Sorry, But seriously, past due.... and probably would have gotten worse with the mid terms coming up..... Rock on

10/4/2026 4:47pm The RIO’s job goes back to the original mission of the Tomcat, long range Fleet defense. Operating the sensors to locate, track, and get off shots on Rooskie bombers carrying anti-ship missiles and employing heavy jamming. The radar displays were set up to show both synthetic radar tracks and to also see the raw radar return to help with identifying the jamming techniques. We also used that display for all the non-tracking modes. We could pick from various radar modes, pulse repetition frequencies or sensors to defeat the jamming. Lots of tools in the tool box. Because there were so...

10/4/2026 4:44pm On 3 October 1967, a B-52 bomber took off over the Mojave Desert carrying a small black rocket plane under its wing. Inside it sat Air Force Major Pete Knight. The plane was the X-15, built to fly faster than any aircraft before it. At those speeds the air itself becomes hot enough to destroy a plane, so engineers had covered this one in a special coating designed to burn away in flight instead of the metal. It would not be enough. Near Mud Lake, Nevada, the B-52 released him. Knight fired the rocket engine. The X-15 accelerated through Mach...

9/22/2026 1:36pm Sorry for your loss G-man. Fortunately, you don't have the additional burden of financial distress adding to the trauma and you have hobbies. We did similar early financial planning taking full advantage of whatever employer retirement plans we had and focusing on keeping recuring monthly bills as low as possible. We keep our vehicles long after any loans were paid off and keep up the preventative maintenance too. Ramsey drops some valuable nuggets sometimes and 1 has to do with paying off your mortgage early or eliminate credit card balances and other loans 1st. He asks what the mortgage rate...
