These guys are quite literally risking their lives every time they suit up & hit the gate. You expect George to risk his life on equipment he has no confidence in? He didn’t quit - minus the non qualify @ budds, he just backed it down to a pace he was comfortable going on the equipment he was on, you want him to risk his life for corporate kawi and the fans??? These guys are only human. I’m a Kawi guy through & through and don’t believe it’s the bike, even after a disastrous A1.

As someone who looks for land to have their own moto ranch to ride on, it would be nice to have quieter bikes where you could buy 15or 20 acres and not worry about the house beside it complaining about the noise. Not interested in electric bikes at this time.

I don’t think anyone completely wrote off Tomac. There’s more uncertainty whether he can adapt to the new bike or not. I think after A1 there’s more questions than answers. Give it a few rounds.

Just got done listening to the VitalMX post race show and had a little chuckle after listening to Lewis talking about Hunters ride was not as good as he was expecting and was not that impressive and then on the next breath spoke of how Sexton’s race was not as bad as everyone is saying and there are plenty of positives to take away from his weekend, LOL what do you expect from Sexton’s biggest Fanboy I guess.

I’ll take a shot at this.. Pre and post race inspection is common practice so that equipment isn’t built to strategically “fail” in a way that makes things work better. A blowout muffler packing, or a restrictor that falls off on the starting line would be really simple examples.. So you test before and afterwards.

And beyond that, if you think lawsuits drive companies to improve instead of just driving them to avoid them or get away with things when they do come, I've got some great stories to tell you from some risk management meetings. I was once told by a risk management person that I was putting too many patients on cardiac monitoring and it was increasing hospital liability because it was leaving documentation of things. Hospital would be better off if more patients were just found dead the next time nurses came around to take vitals with no telemetry to document what...

FELD/AMA/AStarsMedicalCrew should, if they don’t already, Hold “After Action Reviews” or “Learning From Incidents” reviews as part of a Continious Improvement process for something this critical. This process is done at most major Coorporations in heavy industry worldwide Hold the review, access, what went right, what went wrong, implement change, do this week in and week, out religiously and things will get better, guaranteed. Same method for the broadcast crew…. It’s not that complicated or difficult

No one needs to know what was said to see the poor response by ALL, not just the medic crew. It's not like Barcia told them all to stay away because he wanted to nap for awhile by himself.

Ok, glass half empty then .. I've never known anyone who attends or watches SX in the hopes of witnessing someone getting hurt. Certainly agree that current track designs often create needlessly dangerous situations, a bit slower tracks that don't allow for such degrees of momentum to occur would likely produce less injuries. Pretty sure that we all witnessed plenty of skill & technique as Eli & Kenny finished almost half a minute ahead of the rest of the field.
