There’s no other motorsport where a racer could deliberately try to make an opponent crash without getting a ban. It’s one thing to be aggressive in the heat of the moment, but putting another rider down multiple times as your only goal in the race is uncalled for. This shit ain’t demolition derby.

Once Deegan does the second takeout move the black flag should’ve been thrown out. The probability of Shimoda being the one down with a broken collarbone was just as big as Deegan. The lack of officiating made the sport look like a circus yet again.

Where do you draw the line for morality? If there’s money to be gained you don’t care about right vs wrong/respecting your competition and controlling yourself? Do you feel that way when someone gets their bike stolen? “Well there’s financial gain to be had so flame on haters.” Or is $10k the threshold for you where monetary
