In my opinion this sport, largely due to nbc is presented incorrectly. They try to hard selling story lines and trying to make it ‘look cool’ instead of just calling the race as it unfolds. the other flaw is dumbing it down, explaining what a start device and scoop tire is every race is nauseating. Just call the race for the avid fan, if someone hears something they don’t know about and they want to they’ll look it up. Your not gonna get anywhere catering to the lowest common denominator. The contrast between a Malin race call and a Weege/Diffey...

This flagger did what I'd expect any flagger to do and that's try and get the guys leg out of the bike so he doesn't get severe burns. He was as careful as the situation allowed once he realized there was a break. This was a lose lose situation for both rider and flagger, but that's the nature of the beast. Motorcycles are dangerous....

Less homeschooling and facilities, more big regional weekends and putting money into local tracks. Spitting out dozens of kids a year who won’t make it and haven’t completed school past 7th grade isn’t working. And don’t tell me homeschooling is working for them. The pros in our sport are 28 and can’t predicate a noun or differentiate between 3 words that end in the same suffix so they use the wrong word interchangeably.

In ‘82… It was Magoo

I always thought it was Brad Lackey.

I wonder how long he had to wait to get it back

I cut my dreads last year and my lap times were the same, so that part is inaccurate…

Yeah, but the majority of the guys on the gate aren't on Chase Sexton's level. Guys that are as talented as Chase (and have had the success that Chase has had) only want to win, unless they are in the twilight of their career and simply going out there because they love it and it pays well. Chase is still in what should be his prime. He was on somewhat of an upward trajectory until this year. 2022 MX: His first season that showed he can truly be an elite 450 guy outdoors; almost beat prime Tomac straight-up for the...

Damn we might as well not race then. I’m guessing you had roczen being in the fight for this championship in November right?

Chase isn’t “most of the guys on the gate”. He’s one of a few who can push or even occasionally beat Jett, and he’s a two time 450 champion. It would be a massive ask to expect him to accept riding around in 5-10, even if he’s being paid well. To these guys the money is just an outcome; within reason they’ll take a paycut to get back to winning.

" He isnt an exciting rider, he just gets the job done, very very well." lol what? As if anyone gets to decide who is ‘exciting’ to watch and who is not. I hate it when people treat their highly subjective opinions like they apply to everyone else. Its so dumb

colloquialisms on colloquialisms iron = iron steel = iron + carbon chromoly = iron + carbon + chromium + molybdenum btw, have you seen what they're doing with powdered metals now in the knife world? pretty insane.

DO NOT LET PERFECTION BECOME THE ENEMY OF PROGRESS I've yoinked the ol' motor and swapped in the 05. The full frame scrub and love will come at a date yet to be determined, I want to ride this thing. Looking at this bottom end requires a penicillin shot.

Swingarm cleaned up nicely.

there it is 😂

If Sexton really is looking for a way out and doing it twice as fast as Prado, Im really curious how people are going to justify that move, when it wasnt okay for Prado. Gonna be exciting! Lol That whole Prado Sexton swap is aging like fine wine. It just gets better every week.

Suppose I don’t have a solution. “I don’t have alternative to your solution therefore I must accept your solution” is a terrible argument. That should be obvious. Recognizing loss to the victim suggests that restitution should be a priority. I’d rather have the value of my stolen property back than than have the theif mutilated. I gain something from restitution but not retribution. The point of retribution seems to be deterrence. The problem I have with mutilation is its permanence. Property can be replaced so that doesn’t seem proportionate. Flogging seems to be an effective deterrent in Singapore and while...
