I thought that was pretty interesting.. The last time Kenny also had 5 wins in a SX season was 2016!! 10 years later he has 5 wins again and he's leading the points with two rounds to go. That's insane. I think this second half of the season he is truly riding the best he ever has, including the start of 2017. I hope he brings it home man.

Why not? Might as well throw Malcolm's number into the hat here too. Finally got that big W last year and dude looked soooo good in Paris. If he stays healthy, he's proven he can be consistent through a full indoor season.

Malcom will never be much more than he is unless he fully commits to racing. He has the talent to be a consistent top 5 regular podium guy. He talks about fishing a lot which leads me to believe that’s his first love. To be a serious contender, racing has to be your first love. Malcom , needs to drop some weight, get a haircut and take the sport more serious to get there.

I cut my dreads last year and my lap times were the same, so that part is inaccurate…

Imagine caring about another man caring about another mans hair style. Especially when he really doesn’t care.

Kenny owes Hunter a wheel. If not for Hunter taking him out early in the season Kenny could cruise around in 2nd the next two races.

It seems inevitable to me that we are going to go into the last round with a 1 point separation. Hunter HAS to win the next round. Then he HAS to win the final. There's no way around it.

Kenny is in the driver's seat and I'm pulling for him, but I won't be mad if Hunter somehow pulls it off... He's pretending like he's cool as a cucumber, but that aggressive attempt on Roczen last night tells me he's feeling the pressure and doesn't want it to be this close.

He looks chill off the bike, but you can tell he’s frantic in the main.

It's a nonchalant-off with these two, it's kinda wild. Grinning

Hunter has crashed in the last 3 rounds correct? Yes, conditions & one Marchbanks incident. Which what else could Marchbanks do besides ride the high side of the Berm? Anyway.

The way Kenny has been putting the opening laps together, I mean dude has looked SO GOOD.

It makes me so stoked for him, what a birthday gift to yourself, Holding the red plate, how sick. I don’t get the vibe he’s BSing anything. The true enjoyment of this season & racing, knowing what he needs to do & where he needs to be. He’s been putting himself there consistently. I can’t think of a surface he hasn’t raced well on this season.

Good time to be a fan, especially if you watched Kenny’s crash live. It was like time stopped, now fast forward to here?! Almost unbelievable.

He might just be the people’s champ ‘26.

I was remembering Hunter's take out of Kenny in Seattle. I hope that both riders run one another clean these last 2 races.

Agreed I hope it stays clean.  However both Denver and SLC track maps show sand sections.  So we might have the setup for a near identical scenario if the KR and HL racing is close.

If Kenny wins next week that’s a wrap. He’ll take the title with a 4th or better in SLC. Come on Kenny!!!

Hunter is more likely to get dirty with Ken than the other way around, IMO

Ken loves to be like, “I don’t even care if I win the title bro! I’m just here having fun. But don’t say I fade late in the season and also I’m pissed about lappers because they slow me down and make it harder to win. But it’s cool! I don’t care if I win the title!”

I agree.💯 I think like both riders have about the same amount of pressure. In Kenny’s case , he’s been chasing this title for over a decade. Hunter has several more years than Kenny ,but things are going to get much tougher for the rest of his career. His brother will be back and the young guys will be moving up, namely Danger and then his teammate within 2 years. This might be the last and only chance these 2 are going to get to hoist the SX championship trophy.

I hope so but Hunter winning is good with me too. I can't help but think this could be the last chance for Ken or Hunter to win this title. With Jett coming back and Deegs moving up chances seem pretty slim from here on out. Davies could be there too, right?

Suzuki owes him an electric start if that's the case.

Past few on track mistakes he had were followed immediately by other mistakes, frantic like. Both contenders must know next year Jett will be back, with Deegan as well, and Davies soon to follow. Starting next year winning will get more difficult, both Hunter and Kenny must realize this year might be a last chance.

I would be so stoked for Kenny if he pulls this off. Besides KDub, I don't think there is ANYONE in this sport who is owed one more than Kenny. Pulling for him.

Kenny has amazing sprint speed at the start, unmatched but then slowly starts settling into a slower pace

The final race I think we see a bad arse Ken Roczen that just uncorks that speed for 20 mins, a ride for the ages, where everyone says where did that come from. It was always there but age and injuries slow you down. With nothing to lose and everything to gain I hope we see old yellow on the top step.

I hope Hunter wins next week with Roczen second, so we go into Salt Lake with a winner takes all situation. Then may the best man win. Happy either way.

I hope the lappers do not have an influence on the results.

Mud races have helped Kenny, otherwise he would be 50 points behind now. But lets see, he can roll around behind Hunta now and almost take it.

Has anyone done the math for any of the different points scenarios for the last two rounds?

Am I off in thinking Larry Brooks could have been what helped Kenny? Some guys just click. Also Larry being sick puts what’s important into perspective.

Maybe. Roczen has ran it pretty hard on Hunter a couple of times.

Both of them have had the presence to sense it coming and move enough to limit the consequences- not fall. I don’t think either will go a direct takeout but maybe would fall due to defending a block pass.
