No 40 sec. lap times.

No excuses from Roczen: “I am not as good as Eli right now but it’s a great opportunity for me to learn and improve myself over the next few weeks. I am excited to put in some work with the team and personally as well to be a step further coming into Perth.”

It was a fun race. Cheap beer as others mentioned (especially with the exchange rate) and it was a different schedule which was fast-paced. Eli wheelie-ing the whoops was incredible to see. He's looking good

People can bitch about the broadcast and all that, but I'm happy there's just racing to watch at this time of the year. I liked the track was big, not real technical but the dirt breaking down made it a technical track and had separation. Also Eli looked great out there, his starts were on point and we all know how fast Kenny is at these type of races with his sprint speed. And Eli worked him, and these are the track conditions he struggled in sx this year. So I'm excited to see him keep progressing in to next...

'the track is corduroy' is a great turn of phrase for a rutty track

the whole seven thousand fans will have their hair blown back i'm sure.

I saw AC/DC there a few years back, sounded fine to me, after many beers and doobies......

I’m going with about 2 dozen family members from around BC, been along time since they had a race there and looking forward too it!

Any hopes of kyb on the 250SR?

And then sell it because of the wide ratio gear box

I predict tons of Moto dudes buying the XC Models to get the Spring Forks. Should be good deals on leftover SXs after awhile.

Start one in AZ, there are only 2 left. A metro area of 5 million people and only 2 tracks. It’s a shame.

I stopped by today and walked it. The dozer guy was there making the last section to connect the full track. It's a BIG layout, and fast. I'll guess a 1:45-2:00 lap time. It still needs a ton of work - the jump faces need cleaned up, some of the faces are way too big for the length of the jump, several jumps land to flat and need fixed, and the berms aren't built at all. Plus I saw no sign of any way to water, yet. There is a skid steer on site, so if they get some water...

Anyone not using a chest strap for a sport where you HOLD ON to something is doing it wrong. Wrist based HR is inaccurate in these circumstances. As soon as you're clenching your hand you're compromising the accuracy. Both companies make some decent watches. I'm just more a fan of Polar Flow over Garmin's "kitchen sink" approach to software. Anecdotally my wife had a ton of trouble with wrist HR on her last 2 Garmins. She switched to Polar and I'm trying to convince her to at least try an arm band when mountain biking. She has far less drops...
