Looks like BNG for ‘24

(a splash of purple)

… and some suspension tweaks.

No spring forks!
As one dealer told me that was gonna happen, lol

I predict tons of Moto dudes buying the XC Models to get the Spring Forks.

Should be good deals on leftover SXs after awhile.

Any word on when the 24s will be available and hit the dealers?

And then sell it because of the wide ratio gear box

Hopefully KTM has fixed the TBI issues for 24. Yikes on the 23’s.

I am liking the slight change in the graphics, I like the color they added. Also like the spring fork change on the XC line.

Wondering the same? Seems like most have had minimal issues with the TBI, especially after the software updates.

I've had three TBi's since Oct '22 and haven't had an issue with any of them.

you guys can read for yourselves. But the only reason I got into reading that thread was I was on the verge of buying both a new TBI 125sx and 300xc. But between my friends having issues with theirs (one actually couldn’t ride his brand new bike for months because he was waiting on a stator KTM couldn’t provide) and the latest maps not running clean I eventually bought a 2023 TM MX125 and kept my TPI 300xc (which I worked hard to get it’s factory bugs out of). But outside that the bikes are great!

You think it makes that big of a difference for the average dude?

Not trying to argue, genuinely curious.

The YZ250/YZ250x is the only time I've ever ridden an "off road" transmission that I didn't like it or could tell a drastic difference.

Is the piston hitting the case and causing it to gernade an issue on the 2024 or was that resolved?

The most important question.

I wish some reputable company would stroke and port one of these to make it just right. 325cc?

Grabbed a dialed slightly used 3hunert to replace a '22 YZ250F. Couldn't have made a better move. I like bikes that have front tire bite and plenty of YAT. This thing doesn't give me days of aching forearms, like my mod'd 200SX w/YZ front end?! It does weigh more than the 250F, even tho it's said to be 220lbs, less gas and feels much heavier than the 4 lbs it has on my 200SX.

It did come with the hybrid Coppersmith/Ohlins fork upgrade, Enzo shock re-valve, PC Works pipe and a WMR re-flash. 50t outback is money.

I know some guys have has issues with their bikes but my 23 300sx has been a great bike. At almost 80hrs on stock top end & clutch, the bike just continues to impress me. Mx, woods, it does it all. I”m going to 100hrs before I tear into the top end just like I have done with my other 300”s. I mainly use my bike as a practice bike, 75% of the hrs have been in deep sand and working hard. I do feel they require at least 50/50 mixture of C12 or 110 leaded Sunoco. Only engine mode I have done is FmF pipe & John Ross/ Tpi tuning to EcU.

Personally, for bigger power, I'd retro fit for my STIC Super X carb. With a less powerful early 90's version, pro Honda test rider Rich Taylor stated in an article that his stock Boswell carb'd CR250 was faster than the works bikes.

For MX on my 200SX, I use the slowest turn G2 throttle cam to control the mayhem. Otherwise it's point and shoot out for jump faces right out of turns.

The XC gear box is terrible. I'd love if my SX had a 6th though, with no change to 1 through 5...

I’ve had 3 as well. All 3 are great bikes with no issues. I put 130+ hours on my ‘23 XC300 and it still ran great !

Currently on a YZ250 but the 300SX is my next bike 100%. Y'all should post pics.

If you get a chance, ride an XC to see if you are okay with the tranny ratios. As mentioned before, the spring forks could be an easier path to  better front end traction and feel.

The cheapest SX fork fix is buying any used SSS front end or fork. The lowers slide right into the WP uppers!

Another 300SX owner here who has had no issues through 50 hours. Even the air fork was 'ok'.  I did eventually do the new WP7500 cone valve inserts from Solid Performance and it's now the best suspended bike I've ever owned and by a pretty big margin.

I don't think there is anything wrong with the AER forks though?

You may be right, the other day I rode a TC300 and it didn't feel as dead in the front. The TC guy rode my bike with the KYB's. He said that my bike felt more planted and the front tire traction gave more confidence.

I have been riding/setting up my 23 300sx up for woods/gncc… I had my 2016-17 conevalves on the bike for most of its 80hrs, riding mostly Mx. I started using the stock Aer forks about 5-6 hrs ago… I could tune them softer for roots, stumps, while my conevalves would need a revalve for dedicated woods riding. While not as predictable as my conevalves, Once I found the air pressure, that worked for me, they are not bad at all..IMO…the only hinderance is getting access to the bleed screws & air pump with my bark busters on.
