If I wasn’t going to TN for a hockey game I’d be flying out here again for the race. Vancouver is a awesome city! I flew there in Janurary from OH for a concert and spent a day just walking around downtown checking things out. The train is a great way to get from place to place and there is a ton of good food available

If I trained 24/7 for 5 years, I might be a better skilled novice rider! 🤣 Everyone thinks they could be the next “one” until they hit the deck. Then you realize a back up plan might be the better path. One reason motorcross/Supercross fans are so diehard is because most know the risk and talent level. So many people buy their first bike and plan to be an expert in no time. The throttle will quickly remind most, “it ain’t happenin”.

I think the original Vancouver Supercross, around 1984, had Hannah and O'Show as the main attraction along with some fast privateers such as Phil Larson and top Canadian riders. It was great (older brother was a flagman) and some of the top privateers showed up at a moto race held in Mission, BC the next day (I think Ross laid...

I don't get this take at all. More moto jobs is great for the industry and a successful WSX can only improve the AMA series. If a gate is dropping, I'm calling it racing.

You're right, cancel the series because only the AMA can have a SX series, oh wait, Paris has a series, Aus has a series. even India has a series. Don't worry my friend, the AMA will survive the challenge....

I've crashed my road race bike at 140mph wearing a tech air 10 and walked away. They are very hot to wear and road racing is nowhere near as physical as motocross, I can't see how anyone could do 30 minutes with one racing motocross and not pass out from heat. Although the mx version looks a lot smaller and less restrictive, so is probably not as hot to wear as a tech air 10. But they work, and work very well. I don't go near a track without mine now.

The point is not what it completely prevents. The point is that it’s absolutely better than nothing, and reduces the likelihood of a catastrophic injury. No safety gear will ever totally prevent injury. There’s no reason to hold anything to that standard.
