Is Kawasaki screwing over Drew Adams just like they did to Ryder D?

If pro circuit signed someone everytime someone said why cant they find room for one more rider, they would have as many riders as star.

McAdoo and Forkner are winning races when they come back from injuries, has Hammaker won a race before?

Yes his 3rd ever sx rookie season. Beat lawrence cooper mcadoo Smith ect on a pretty stacked west coast. He's had multiple podiums people seem to forget?

Hammaker won the 2021 Arlington 1 race. I think he's the weakest of the 3, but all of them are incredibly talented. On paper, they have one of the strongest lineups, but that doesn't mean much when you can't stay healthy long enough to win titles. Race wins are nice, but for a team of Pro Circuit's level, you need to win titles, and they haven't had many of those these last 10 years.

What’s the saying? Your only as good as your last race i believe that’s it. It sucks but it’s true.

Weird spot he's in, with his last results I can't see Kawasaki or Mitch letting him go, doesn't make sense, a bit of shot in the dark but... Kawasaki will have a Factory MX2 bike next year in the GP Series, maybe Kawasaki puts him there for a year or two and then move to PC?

Hammaker could be really good though, just when gets momentum going and is showing real speed he gets hurt.  To me, it doesn't seem like Macadoo has has improved at all since '21.

Drew is younger than most of the A class right now so doing another year of Futures is acceptable. Id imagine he’d be futures for SX 2025 and then do a full year of 250MX? Maybe Forkner or someone will win a title, then move up which opens up a spot.

Why is everyone talking about Hammaker and McAdoo when they just signed Marchbanks, which is the biggest head-scratcher of them all? If I had to choose between Drew, Hammaker, McAdoo, and Marchbanks, at least two have shown they can win mains on pure speed, one looks very promising, and the other hasn't shown much at all. Or am I missing something?

Perfect strategy. lol

Is this fact, rumour or pure speculation?
As for the supposed Kawi age rule- that doesn’t make sense.

Hammaker is a risk to himself and everybody on the track every time he lines up, you watch his crashes the amount of brain fades he has and lack of  unawareness to what is around him is not good enough, I don't think theres a top rider who does stupid shit like he does, but I get it, he's a nice guy.

Of the four guys you named, only one doesn’t have a main event win and that’s only because he isn’t pro yet…

I ran into Ryder D’s Dad at the Seattle airport the night before the Supercross this year waiting for a shuttle ride. I asked him why Ryder left Pro Circuit and went to TLD GasGas and he told me that Mitch had to let him go as Kawasaki corporate decided that they now want all of their 250 riders to be 21 yrs or older. Ryder was only 18 at the time and had been Team Green for almost his whole amateur carrier, so he was let go. Mitch had to follow Kawasakis rules or lose their support along with Monster. That’s why.

Exactly!! His story is either fabricated by him or Ryders dad which I doubt. Its completely false.

This isn't the first time that rumor has been floated, but it's the first time I've seen it attributed to an involved party. I think people are trying to find a reasonable explanation for PC's '25 roster and this narrative makes as much sense as anything else.

Pro Circuit has to be the dumbest team not to have room on their 2025 SX/MX/SMX team,   They should of had this young man locked up for the next three years,   Now their going to lose another rider from the amateurs that won them a number of races to Team Triumph in 2025 and beyond.   Just like Ryder Difrancesco,   Thank you very much now F-off.IMG 1108.jpeg?VersionId=v7lTRYazm

In his last year at Loretta’s, Ryder D came home with 5th and 11th.  Not hard to see why they didn’t have a ton of faith in him, and frankly, he’s not a front runner today.  Looks like they got that one right.  If they let this one slip away, that’s a different story altogether.

I think you misunderstood…Tomac and James never rode for PC. RC and Langston did not win any more 125/250 titles after leaving PC.

“Team Green” is the amateur program. Much different than Factory Kawi

In the interview Adams did with I think Darkside he made it sound like he should be ready to race either coast. With the history of riders getting hurt, there's probably a better then 50% chance one of his 5 teammates will be hurt and he can fill in.

You could make a case for everyone to stay at PC except for Forkner IMO. He turned pro 8 years ago... Time to move on.

Probably, or; Drew remains in Canada for another year, retaining amateur status while gaining experience racing Kaven Benoit and the rest. The experience gained is huge and maybe Deegan is gone to 450's sooner than later.

Interesting. Likely ?…. Kawasaki has had the most comprehensive amateur program of any manufacturer going back to the 1980’s with an unarguable record of outstanding success. They also know the average career span once a rider turns pro. We’re being told here they want all their 250 riders to be over 21. In other words we’re to believe that they will continue to produce pro ready riders of a premium quality then effectively hand them over to whichever manufacturer wants them ?
Nope I’m most definitely not buying that .

Honda went from 6 to 2 bikes, but GasGas and Triumph have added 4 rides and Star has expanded from 4 rides in 2020 to 7 in 2024. Geico Honda is obviously a huge loss but as far as a log jam there are more factory seats available now.
