That way he would sound like Dungey, who was constantly talked down by "MX fans" for being too bland. Young man who is on top of the world right now. Who wouldn't be a little cocky in his position (other than aforementioned Ryan Dungey)? Just the way he is at this place and time. It will probably change within a couple of years from now.

10/8/2018 1:14pm Lighten up Vitards. It's a part of the "party" that is MXDN. What do you expect - people to march in at attention and stand quietly. Euros brought some of their moto culture and their teams kicked ass. Had the 'mericans won I bet no one would be bitching.

It’s interesting to see how RJ’s bike behaves so much more like a modern setup. Seems like most of the others (and prior Hondas) would see-saw over big jumps and whoops. I remember an article where he said he doesn’t like the forks to dive at all. Ahead of his time. And to me, the Ward/RJ/Bailey/Lechein/Glover/etc era was as good as it gets. Unbelievable depth of talent and work ethnic (other than the Dogger, who obviously had talent to spare...).

Couple of nobody’s from New England did well in a mudder out in Cali in the early 90s. John Dowd and Doug Henry. I wonder what ever happened to those nobody’s

8/18/2018 5:45pm The race has kind of lost it's luster being held every year. Kind of like IIHF World Championship hockey, held annually, as opposed to Olympic hockey (with nhl/pro players). Love the MXdN but think holding it every 2-4 years would make it more prestigious. Just a thought. Go, Canada! Go USA! Go Puerto Rico!
