7/4/2019 6:14am I agree that high school is a joke for most. I was valedictorian at Columbia against all the private school kids who got perfect grades. All it took was applying the discipline I learned while racing to academics. Community colleges don’t care where you went to high school and you can transfer anywhere from there.

7/3/2019 6:02am Home schooling can be fine, and just as good/better than going to the brick and mortar school. However, from what I have surmised from talking to some of these kids at the track, some (50%???) are just being home schooled so they can ride all day and train. There is not studying going on. These kids, and the adults the...

HackMan162 Added a reply to Pivot Works linkage bearings. JUNK!?
6/25/2019 11:04am All the chinese ones are crap. All Ballz, PivotWorks, etc. OEM is best, but can often times get a match on the bearing at a bearing supply house and get a Koyo (japanese) bearing, or the brand that makes SKF seals (cant remember it off-hand).

5/20/2019 4:09am You forgot the part where they sold their products into foreign markets below their cost of production. Its how the US lost the flat panel LCD market.

5/16/2019 7:17pm I completely understand and agree with what OP is saying, but good god does the term "snowflake" bother me. Can we just go back to saying "pussy" or "bitch" or "pussy-ass-bitch" like we did before? I'm all for progress, but let's not forget how to insult each other properly.

5/16/2019 7:09pm So, if I read between the lines here you are saying that all the riders and teams are all massive pusses for wanting the nationals condensed down to one day because it was too tough as a 2 day event? And don’t forget, we can’t have a 125 national championship because it won’t fit the TV schedule. That and it isn’t fair to the fucking snowflakes at Honda, Kawasaki and Suzuki. Is that what I’m picking up from your post? Because I think I’m picking some of that up from your post.

5/16/2019 7:06pm It’s true - MX/SX fans are spoiled now and a lot have turned into a bunch of Snowflakes. How many of you snowflakes actually ride? “I paid $75 dollars, I want my live races without commercials, wait, the downtime is killing me, we need entertainment” “My internet is buffering” - waaaahhhhhh “The traffic is going to kill me to go to Pala” You know why MX tracks used to be packed and the hillsides had fans? Because people were tougher, like Hannah tough. They threw on some corduroy shorts, didn’t even pack a shirt... filled the cooler with Banquet Beer...

5/7/2019 11:02am What Bruce said. Night and day different bike. And once the forks actually move, they are pretty decent without any other mods. At your weight, you should probably grab a lighter fork spring too. You can use one of the .98 out of the KX250F.

5/3/2019 3:10pm Derek Harris was exact! Hard to choose between ADV and Spoaks. Both are awesome and really cool owners. Good dirt too! Murphy’s fun but easy, cool family that runs it. Haven’t been to Redrock mx, want to but don’t know the owner-but there is a good GoPro of Andrew Short riding it on YouTube. Video speaks for itself! There are a lot of towns just outside of Austin to live and be close but not in the city (Buda, Kyle, San Marcos, Wimberley, Dripping Springs (all on the south side closer to moto)).

4/28/2019 7:06am Ugliest damn helmet I've seen other than some of the cheapo Walmart specials. Seems to be direct opposite thinking of Arai's "Egg shape" philosophy of smooth lines that dont catch the ground.
