One of the best deals in motocross is to buy a full oem rear Yamaha yz450f rear wheel. You get the sprockets and brake disk…..everything except the tire and tube. I forgot what I paid but it was way less than expected and the wheels are great.

You're getting down voted, but to be honest, you're not wrong. American-born riders only won 7 of 17 Supercross races and that's without Jett being there. We haven't won a single moto outdoors in the premier class. Even in the 250 class, foreign-born riders won about half the Supercross races and they're dominating the top 10 outdoors, as well. I think there are many reasons for this. All of our Supercross tracks are basically just different combinations of the same obstacles. My understanding is that Josh Fout is stepping up with some help from Dennis Stapleton. Both are solid riders, know their stuff, and will tell it how it is. Jmo was great with MXA, and he still will be at his new gig. So now we get both MXA and Hold Fast with solid reviews/opinions from two different sources. Should be a good thing for everyone.

I noticed this as well. I'm kind of bummed because I felt like Josh had the ability to bring back some of that old MXA glory. As others have said, total greedy money grab by MX Sports. When you hear the actual cost of the ranch, there’s no way it’s sustainable at those prices. The luster is gone, with SMX Next, combines, even Canadian Nationals proving a more valuable experience for the next generation of pros. It’ll die off like the Golden State Series back in the day. I wouldn’t pay a dollar to these greedy bastards, and I’m probably not alone in those sentiments.

can't go wrong with Specialized. Lifetime guarantee on the bike and most components. Tons of tunability of the motor and battery use, etc. using supplied MasterMind app. I haven't even scratched the surface yet on that- set up direct from factory is really good. Fox Genie suspension is tunable with lots of settings for compression, rebound, etc. I did swap seat for comfort and added 80mm riser handlebars with new fatter soft/tacky grips like I use on all my moto bikes from VMX to Beta.

I suspect a big part of it is recognizing and being able to communicate what a bike is doing to the suspension and engine techs to get the bike to do what they want it to. Not all riders are good at that.
