I race a motocross series here in the Midwest that attracts about 1000 entries per weekend, and it is rare to see an ambulance leave. It has a lot to do with track management and prep. If it is deep, wet, and rough enough, riders aren’t going fast enough to get hurt that bad. Also, we don’t run C and A riders at the same time.

Thats easy. I regret not covering the inside of the homeplate turn on the last lap of the 82 Anahiem Amateur SX and giving up a sure 250 Int win. That still hurts Steve P! I regret quitting for 20 years after breaking my neck at the 83 Anahiem Amateur SX and sporting a bitchen Halo Brace for a couple months. I regret not helping my bro get to the next level after he got 13th OA at the last Saddleback National in 84 - Top Privateer on a clapped out 250 pitting out of a minitruck with an easy-up...

These can be had for like 15 bucks or whatever and go between the shock spring and preload adjuster. Pro circuit sells a much more expensive version that comes with a new machined aluminum adjuster.

It really is a cryin' shame that Glen Helen isn't a part of the Nats. It's the last place that even resembles Carlsbad....which was where us old guys consider American moto got its legs. GH is in a really good spot for moto. Actually better dirt than Carlsbad or Saddleback and just a great outdoor vibe. (That good dirt takes a LOT of work and water). What I dig is how godawfull rough it gets in that old-school way. It's not that deep tilled loamy rough like most other tracks...it's just different. There is some cool history stuff there as...

Every set of EBCs I’ve tried were absolute garbage.

OEM Nissin for me. We have some horrible cheap aftermarket options here in the UK like Goldfren, SBS, Apico. They are a fantastic way to ruin your braking performance. I had a goldfren pad split apart on my RM250, the material broke away from the backing plate

5CU is an OEM mark on that piston. Cylinder is plated, not sleeved, IMHO.
