This is what happens when you have almost all of the first 5 races in the same state....STOP GOING TO CALIFORNIA SO MUCH. I guarantee all my downvotes are from CA. Its just facts people. Open stadiums don't agree with mother nature.

My Dad was brought up on a farm and fixed all the machinery when he was a teenager. He competed in cars and taught me how to build engines etc. He jetted a bike by listening to it and was always on the money with mixtures. Best advice “never moan about your bike until it’s really holding you back and then make it better” He’s gone nine years now but he’s kind off still here if that makes any sense. You think when your young that you will meet people that you can learn more of but I never did.

For me, 3 replacement discs in my back would do it. Unfortunately even at my fittest in my mid-30’s I couldn’t prevent the pain from herniated discs while riding. Doctor told me “can’t put the toothpaste back in the the tube”. I was a heavy equipment mechanic at the time and it was impacting my work. I avoided surgery by...

WEAL Liked a reply to forum topic KTM 350 SXF. BRAND NEW COMPLETELY STOCK

Doing heat cycles with the bike just idling is the worst for a new engine. The cam(s) need at least 1500 revs (thats 3k on the crank) to form an oil wedge and the piston rings need gas pressure to be pressed onto the cylinder surface for proper running in. Adequate gas pressure is only available when the throttle is at least half way up and the engine works against a resistance = track or dyno. So for a perfect ring seal and long living cams/followers I always start my new engines for the first time on the track or...

Gabriel J Added a reply to Ryno's Post about the Sport

Ryno comes off as a complete nut job frequently, no surprise he does it again. Sorry to the people who clearly are his friends and/or worshippers but he came off like a complete asshole in his first rant. I was waiting for him to straight-up plug his website or maybe his bullshit nutritional products..."Maybe if he went to rynopower.com and...

Gabriel J Added a reply to How to deal with Low Ball Offers

2/15/2019 5:19pm
I like to lowball, and have scored some really great deals over the years. It's been a mix of up-front lowball offers before seeing the item, or lowball after seeing it. How you communicate with a seller makes a huge difference in how likely you are to get a good deal. You can be cool and lowball, or you can...

Didn't read anything in the first post or the replies, but just like a no-hitter in baseball, once you talk about it, it's not gonna happen.

Gabriel J Added a reply to If this is the future....

I enjoyed the racing. It was a different format and I thought it was fun watching everyone sprint it out. Yes there were added commercial breaks, but that is what fishing forums and Instagram are for.....If they improve the tracks with more passing opportunities the next two races, it could be awesome! 450 Podium: Tomac, Seely, Anderson 250 Podium: Savatgy...

Gabriel J Added a reply to Not Dungey!?

Exactly...Isn't Dungey's official job position at KTM brand ambassador anyways?
Marvin Musquin: “After qualifying 3rd today, I went down hard in the whoops in my heat race. I landed on my left shoulder and felt really beat up. Unfortunately, I wasn't able to line up for the rest of night. I'm really disappointed about that given the team and I were in a good place after our win last weekend...
I'm not in any place to criticize a rider with multiple championships under his belt, but like others have mentioned I've scratched my head with Eli's lack of urgency to get back going when he has tipped over, gone down in a soft crash etc. Maybe he is actually cool and calm when something goes sideways and rather than freaking...

Gabriel J Added a reply to Tomac is dirty

https://youtu.be/f16oAXPLSHs This came to mind as far as recent racing that had title implications. It's not like this is the first time a guy racing for champion$$$hips does what they have to do in the attempt to win. Sometimes it works, sometimes not.
My following comments are based on the assumption that most of the people replying in the thread were watching on tv and not in the stadium. That being said, if you were to turn the volume off on the tv and watch that race would you have gotten so worked up if it weren't for the broadcasters hyping up the...

Gabriel J Added a reply to "It's just a dirt bike race" ???

3/19/2017 6:24am
He's right, it's just a dirt bike race. He came in 3rd place in one race of the most prestigious form of indoor motocross series, potentially on his way to ANOTHER championship. Should he just retire now because it's all been a waste?

7 races...Tomac would need to average ~3 points more than Dungey to make it happen. Gonna be an interesting finish to the season..I'm hoping for a Vegas nail biter! We as fans deserve some suspense after too many recent runaway points championships
