Brians ego is fine.....he's a shrewd businessman and knows how to make his money......there is no amount of money or privilege that could make Haiden do what he's doing right now. Everyone knows you can't buy talent and hard work.... The Deegans should be applauded for doing what they have done and have stayed a close knit family. I bet Brian's having a fucking blast living around his son who is becoming a very speedy pro.

It was clear he intended to race at least one round this year, but unfortunately that WSX mechanical resulted in some serious injuries and that’s the end of that.

Is he appreciably faster than his last couple years of “racing”? He was rolling around in 18th and went to most LCQs. Put down the pipe my dude

Sadly I don't think he races at all, I follow him on social media as I'm sure most of you all do as well and he hasn't mentioned one word about training or anything. Chad is an attention whore (meant with respect) he wouldn't (in my opinion) just show up as a surprise and try to qualify w/o making a big deal about it on social media first. I think him and the family have moved back to FL and split time between there and AU.

I mean he crashed 2 more times, then again in the LCQ. It's like saying someone didn't win the main because they got pushed wide in the heat

Smith has had a decade long career filled with crashing. That's what we saw Saturday night as well. The dude has ridden for every major factory 250 team and on every one he has crashed and crashed some more. I guess you could blame Deegan for "rattling him" but history shows that Smith doesn't really need any help to crash himself out of races.

Unfortunately that's spot on. You can't argue with the facts. That heat race was a dumpster fire, absolutely, but ultimately Jordon's night ended with "a tiger doesn't change his stripes" theme.

I don't get this post. Are you calling James a "Deegan Fanboy" as well? Unless you're on the Deegan hate-train, which it is obvious that you are, then you see that BOTH the riders, not just Haiden, were way overly aggressive for a heat race. My worthless take on this is that Smith, who I'm always pulling for in a race, has a chip on his shoulder over the fact that Deegan is Star's #1 concern and prospect. I think Jordan knows that he is at the end of it and he's not getting the full support of the team...

He failed once with deegan, might as well make it twice.

Please explain how this is an outstanding post….Both riders were out of line but Deegan didn’t have anything to do with Smith not making it into the main…he was in a qualifying position when he flew off the track after the whoops and then he stuffed it into the tower all on his own….stalled it in the LCQ all on his own so exactly how did Deegan take him out of it? You guys are blinded by your hate sooooo much that you can’t even think coherently…..

Lol come on...talk about ignoring the context. He was comparing the split decisions they have to make on the track and the criticism riders get from people that don't have to make those decisions...and he used the phone bill as an analogy for that. It had literally nothing to do with people not being able to make ends meet!!! Sheesh relax a bit.
