I bought a set of Öhlins dampers for my 2016 CRF450 and loved them. By far the best forks I've ever had. Admittedly I've never tried A-Kit or factory suspension but it's hard to imagine anything better. Going from possibly the worst modern forks ever (PS2) to the Öhlins may have slightly influenced me though.

I also had a 2000 YZ426 and had a starting ritual that would work about 85% or 90% of the time. There were times, though, that starting that thing took more out of me than racing. That little decompression fly-weight on Honda's camshaft (which was genius) made a HUGE difference!

This is what I also want to know. The dual exhaust is just dumb engineering - I think someone at Honda is just too proud to admit that the benefit, if any, isn't close to being worth four pounds and is doubling down on the idea. I've been calling everywhere and apparently no one is going to make a right-side-only...

Am I mistaken or is the picture mirrored and Matt has two on the brake and the full four-finger-Skippy on the clutch?

AZ is pretty thin on moto tracks in the summer - and as far racing goes, what races there are, are night races. We've been going to Socal pretty much every other week to race and that in a way is a good thing about AZ: you're only five or six hours from15-20 good SoCal tracks. As for AZ tracks...

I have a '15 CRF450 and had my suspension done by Factory Connection. My main concern was also how bad it was in chop at the top of the stroke. I'm sure there's a lot of good suspension guys that can fix this but the FC guys came through pretty well for me.

My opinion exactly. MX32 front works damn well in most conditions

I've been using Cti2's for about 10 years as well and have also been looking at new braces. I've tried on almost everything and I think that I'll stick with a new set of Cti's despite their cost and the almost criminally shitty straps and patella cups. NOTHING comes close to fitting as well and that does it for me...

Really interested in hearing how it turns after you've been on some more tracks - Washougal dirt is so different than almost anywhere. The 25mm offset has me sort of scratching my head a little - most guys are running 20mm triple clamps with the '15's here so they must have moved the motor forward quite a bit or somehow...

I've got 75 hours on my '15 CRF450. With the 2016's still five months away, I'll have about 130 hours on it before I can get a new one at this rate. I'm playing four stroke roulette in my head here wondering if I risk it or spend the $800 or so on a new top end. I love four...

This^^ - This sport has zero room for error. In fact error isn't even the right word - SX requires absolute precision with dozens of pertinent variables changing by the microsecond.
