Rode it at washougal Sunday must say it feels a lot like my old bike (2014 yz450) front brake is deffitney more powerful. Has ton of power my 14 had 148 hours on untouched motor so it was expected and feels like the front end has more traction than my 14. Planted in the ruts very Nicely very happy with the bike just didn't like the price 8777 out the door :-/

Really interested in hearing how it turns after you've been on some more tracks - Washougal dirt is so different than almost anywhere. The 25mm offset has me sort of scratching my head a little - most guys are running 20mm triple clamps with the '15's here so they must have moved the motor forward quite a bit or somehow put more weight on the front. The top head stay looks like it's angled more to the front. But more importantly, congratulations on a beautiful bike! I wish Honda would have put a bit more effort into their 2016's.

I tested a YZ450F and YZ250F with 23.5mm clamps and I preferred them over stock or 20mms. Then again, I've never been a huge fan of running a tighter offset clamp. I don't care for anything under 23mms on the Kawasakis while others rave about 21 or 20mms.

Same; I went down from 22.5 to 18mm on my '11 RMZ450, heaps more stable.

Congratulations! Looks like they are using a different color or coating on the clutch and ignition covers?

On my yz250f, whatever coating they used that year rubbed off very quickly.

I have a 14 and had them forward for a while. When i got the bike, i moved them forward before i even rode it. Huge mistake. For me, it absolutely destroyed the bikes handling. Twitchy, unpredictable, and couldn't hit an inside line. I figured being 6 foot, i had to. But since i moved them back, its like a whole different bike to me. Every aspect of the bike is better. Still plenty of room. Dont really understand how that effected it that much?!

Maybe its different with the new offset??

I am wishing for the '17 to come with a hydraulic clutch lever and electric start.
If not, in a year I will find a leftover '16, stick in a Rekluse, and be happy!

I have a question for those who have ridden both the '16 and either the '14 or '15. Do the changes really make a difference out on the track? Let's say you could get a new '15 or a new '16, would you pay more for the '16?
