It was good to see him win. Now that the monkey is off of his back, he may be dominant.
I refuse to read all the replies because I get so tired of all the whining on here. The negativity on this site has caused me to visit much less frequently. With that said: for the people complaining, do you want the rule book to try and capture every ... more »
Because the poor lads and lassies need more money. They’re barely surviving.
I think he has more speed in reserve, but as many have said, why race on the edge when you’re already winning and have the points lead. You don’t get extra points by winning by a larger margin. He’s staying on two wheels and that is what it takes when ... more »
It seems that the whoops in Atlanta are always a significant part of the track. I remember how large they were the first time I saw the race there live. They seem even larger live than on tv.
I hear you. I’m not a winter sport lover either. Unless you live in Southern California, there are definitely trade offs. In the southeast, we do get 9 months+ we can do things outside. That is if you prepare for the heat and humidity in the summer by ... more »
The southeast is a bitch in the summer though with temps in the 90’s to low 100’s with extreme humidity.
I like Marvin a lot, but he’s always ridden that way imo. Call it defensive racing possibly, but cross jumping is dangerous imo. To me, the tactic is used to keep a faster rider behind you. I really haven’t noticed Cooper doing it that much, but maybe ... more »
The triple crown format is entertaining, but I don’t believe we need more. I am a fan of the style track we had last night. Faster racing and more opportunities to pass without having to punt someone into the 3rd row. With that said, there still should ... more »
Ace, you’re a broken record. I have seen very little indication that anyone here agrees with your point of view, yet you are still pushing it. As others have said, it’s not just the fact he closed 6 seconds, he had to pass 6 other riders who were hauling ... more »
Now that is very true. I’d like to give you credit for a great use of sarcasm, but that statement is too factual to be considered sarcasm.
I agree, but it just seems that responses are totally from one extreme end of the spectrum or the other. The race under last nights circumstances just can’t be rescheduled, postponed or whatever. I really believe that most of us aren’t suggesting this. ... more »
Some posts are so ridiculous. Yes, I do understand the initial post. I think what many of us are trying to say, is that while yes the elements are certainly a part of this sport; we would rather this to be very infrequent. I love the sport of mx/sx, ... more »
You’re right Barnett. All those comments are over the top. I love sarcasm. I’m even very good at it. All the comments you post are not sarcasm. They are dudes feeling themselves trying to have everyone believe they’re badasses. I’m sure we’re all pretty ... more »
You’re just full of cheer mr. Barnett. You love the adjectives stupid, pussies, idiot, etc. Either you’re one bad mofo or you’re one of those bad ass’s behind your keyboard. Feel free to carry on with your macho pose. You have that right. Just remember. ... more »
Webb was in 5th at the time. Probably couldn’t see. Was trying to maintain and get the points he could. Felt that following Marvin would be a fairly safe bet. It did bite him, but it wasn’t a night to be too aggressive, especially when you’re in the ... more »
While I totally agree with the majority that the race always goes on, I have some advice for all you bad ass keyboard warrior’s. Sarcasm is mostly a good thing, but calling people idiot’s, pussies, gay etc. (these aren’t the exact adjectives used, but ... more »
+1
Have you guys ever thought that part of his job is to try and add excitement to a very boring event. I’m happy this sport continues through these conditions (they should), but I wouldn’t want to see many events contested in these conditions. By far the ... more »
