The great news is the AMA Supercross has some seriously invested fans. We've got fans reading rulebooks! Fans spending their free time on AutoCAD verifying their theories. Fans actually trying to explain to others why something like "intent" and officiating don't mix. I don't care what anyone says, those are some invested fans that truly care about the sport Bad...

"Beyond dumb" is how I'd describe the products of the American education system. Seriously, he cut the track, that's ALL that the rules specify, no grey area, pure black and white. Doesn't matter how you feel, how coop feels, out of control/in control... He had to be on the right hand side of the tuff block and he wasn't

No tire works in mud, hence adding 20 seconds to lap times when it's wet or shaving jumps due to subpar... GRIP!!! Soft dirt no problem. Trials tires don't depend on the small "cutting" edge of the knob - the whole carcass deforms to find grip. Hard pack (ie most tracks) I think you'd be surprised how they ride compared...

What really puts RVs legacy into perspective for me is Eli Tomac. I consider Tomac RV lite - and Eli is one of the fastest guys on the planet...
I don't mind riders being off pace. I do mind riders who are sharing the track with the fastest men on the planet rolling sections consistently. Rolling here or there because of fast guys coming through or mistiming something is totally understandable. But at about halfway the usual suspects roll regularly
Um, isn't it technically "moderatecross" now? I mean, more riders, that are also slower...hmmmm. Wonder what that does to the average lap time, quite... moderate I would imagine Separating the wheat from the chaff would make it Supercross, a more premium, less tainted product
As others have said, direction/production is not the responsibility of the booth commentators. Those that are responsible are meant to be feeding the crew information, orchestrating the camera feed etc. Take the commentators out of the box and guess what? We still miss Tomac going down.
