Fantastic! I actually remember coming home with my new ‘78 RM80. I switched from an XR75 and that RM was like a factory bike to 11 year old me.

That's funny cause all those guys except for Deegs are fuckin crashers. They should be more worried about keeping their own blue turds on two wheels. The 1990 RM's were the nest looking bikes of all time IMO. Absolutely perfect with yellow plastic, blue seat, and simple graphics. The blue was slightly brighter than the dark blue of 89. They paired so well with the clean yellow/blue Answer, MS Racing, High Point, Oneal and Fox gear of the day.

I'm 43 and in arguably the best shape of my life. Abs. Muscles. Been a lifter for 25 years. Weight has fluctuated depending on my goals, but I'm currently 181 lbs and lean. And I regularly see overweight guys that light up the smokes and crack a beer shortly after whooping my ass in a long, hot moto. Drives me nuts. I don't race against anyone that LOOKS like I do and I know I'm in better "shape" than anyone on the line with me in the 30 and 40 class, but it boils down to seat time and technique...

Haha, this hangs in my house--a "Custer's Last Stand" print that Anheuser-Busch gave out to bars that they supplied beer to. Every time I see The Royal Tenenbaums I think of Eli Cash's book! When I was a kid I was fascinated by General Custer, America's patron saint of lost hope and foolish ambition, but now I just think the poster's history in beer marketing and rewriting Custer is the really interesting thing about it...
