It takes a lot of time to develop it and read the terrain and markings at speed. I don't race many desert races like this every year so I felt like I had to back it down a tad to read everything, ultimately getting passed just before going down

All this SoCal rain left us with a RARE wet desert race yesterday, leaving for crazy fast conditions that were too much fun! You’ll have to register with NGPC first and will run a V492 (Vet 450 class) or G492 (vet 250 class) if the number isn’t already taken

We were able to win the overall both days to finish about 7 minutes up on 2nd in combined time

About 1.5 minutes a lap slower on Sunday. I averaged 60mph on day 1 and dropped to 55mph on day 2

Had two days of desert racing in Laughlin with Best In The Desert. Saturday was a fast and fairly smooth course, averaging 60mph on the 17 mile loop.
