The timing was all wrong (my truck is torn apart in the garage and we're trying to buy a house) but the price was right. I picked up this brand new 2023 leftover RMZ 450 on Saturday at Nault's in Manchester NH for 6200 out the door. Time to swap some parts from my 18' to the 23' and kick it 😁IMG 20240309 153946488 MF PORTRAIT

Good deal!

The big fat yellow turd (lol) might not be the best race bike for a top guy, but it's no Kove either, it looks real good and whatever it's lacking, the pleasure of a brand new bike at such a price is hard to pass...

Enjoy!

That's a deal right there! And they're one of the best looking bikes still, IMO.

Heck yeah! Still my favorite 450/250 on the market. Whenever I ride a current gen RMZ, I feel like the chassis and rider triangle was made for me, and I still miss my 18 at times (but not when I'm almost falling down a sidehill singletrack, with one foot on, and I hit the electric start to save me).
I've got some cool old school and vintage suzuki's in the garage, would love to add a new one in the future again.

Have fun!!!

Yellow dinosaurs rule.  Dont listen to what the sheeple say,  the bike is one of the most sound & reliable out there.  I want a kickstart lever and decided to get one while they are still available,  got a feeling the '25 will have the button.

Hard to beat a brand new bike for that price!

I don’t understand the hate people give these bikes/ Suzuki in general. You got yourself a solid bike! I dig it! Congrats!

Hell, its a 450!! Asstons of power at your wrist. Unless you are a high level rider, it will rip out more power than most can hold onto. Still a beast of a machine. And long live kick starts!

You haven’t noticed a ‘top guy’ doing reasonably well on one the past couple seasons??

Never fear, the '05 smoker is sitting comfortably by my '06 RAM 24-valve in the shop.    Kissing

Bike still winning super-cross. Good deal Hasn’t changed much since 2007. But doesn’t need too. Imagine in 1980 on the line with Hannah, Howerton, Bell, Barnett, Glover with a 17 year old bike (1963 CZ ), and beating those guys.  Roczen is doing just that.

What a deal. You could buy 2 for the price of a new KTM 450.

Thanks everybody I am beyond excited. I have a 2018 so am very familiar with the platform, and will be swapping some parts over to the new bike. The price was simply too good to pass up!

Can we classify this as "speaking with your wallet?"

I'm not a Suzuki buyer. But for that price on a brand new bike, that's awesome.

Just noticed a whole team of guys burnt the midnight oil for a whole year to try and catch up on years of development that hasn't been done by a factory which doesn't give crap about racing anymore.

They seem to be pretty good, so I'd guess their bike is a slight bit better than this one and that it wouldn't exactly sell for the same price.

For $6200 OTD I'd even stoop low enough to buy a Honda 450 😁

Respectfully, the developmental difference between a '24 RM-Z and all the competition isn't very much. Even the difference between an '07 RM-Z to a modern bike isn't nearly as much as a CZ to a 1980s evolution bike. Don't confuse "all new" with "better;" they're not always the same thing.

If Suzuki puts a button on the '25...and does NOTHING ELSE, all the haters will turn into fanbois.
